Chapter Four: A Blast to the Past.

AFTER THE PERFORMANCE...
"You were such a gem,Serena! You blew everyone away!" Amy,one of the Producers of the play gushed at her as soon as she went backstage after the curtain call.
The curtain call took longer than the usual,so that's why they remained onstage for a longer period of time. Everyone in the audience were cheering for them and their applause never stops!
"I think everyone did a fantastic job, Amy.It's not just me." replied Serena.
"Of course,all of you were amazing,but you are the main star of the play." Amy insisted,as she was walking with Serena back to her own dressing room.They were greeted by all of the crew as they were making their way to the dressing room. Serena congratulated them back because they also contributed something for the success of their first show.
After a few minutes,they've finally reached the dressing room.
"Okay,I want you to freshen up and make yourself presentable. I've invited the press to our after show party and many of them will take photos of you and ask you for an interview. This is your night,Serena so you'd better enjoy it. I'll see you at the exit door,okay? You'd better hurry,there's a limo waiting for us!" Amy reminded her.
Amy closed the door even before Serena can utter a reply. Amy looks more excited than her.
She just shook her said while smiling. Serena sat down and look at herself again in the mirror. She looks different now. She can see a more happier and confident version of herself.She wished this magical night will never end... She was about to take off her wig but she suddenly stopped when she saw something. She saw a huge bouquet of red roses on the table. She also saw a small envelope on it. She stood up and got her hands on the envelope.
"I knew you'd be amazing onstage and I knew from the start that you'll take their breath away. Congratulations and I'll see you at the party.By the way,wear the necklace to the party... - Gale."
Serena clutched Gale's letter close to her chest.Then,she smelled the roses.There's no denying it,but there's something special between her and Gale. They can't say it in words,but she can feel some sort of connection with him.b And she's hopes that she and Gale can take it to the next level...
She can't be late for the party.She couldn't bear to let anyone wait for her for a long time... She quickly took off her wig and she started fixing her make up.
After a few minutes,she was ready to go. She stood up while holding the flowers from Gale
."You will face an entirely new world tonight,Serena. So brace yourself. You can do it." she said to herself.
She lets out a big smile as she slowly opened the door...As soon as she opened the door,she was greeted my many flicker of lights and her eyes suddenly start hurting. She can hear many people talking and she knew that everyone was in a chaos. She never expected that the photographers and the press were waiting for her outside the dressing room.
Amy told her that they will see the press at the after show party,but how come they had an access to enter backstage?
"Easy there,sport. Don't scare the new star of the show."
Serena heaved a sigh of relief when one of the staff finally showed up to calm the photographers down
She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the people infront of her. But there was sonething weird about them...Serena froze when she saw some men wearing something that can only be called as ''fashionable" in the past. To be more specific,it was a kind of clothes that people wear 75 years ago?
