Katherine suddenly stood up and went somewhere, instead of answering her question...
"Great. She just walked out on me." Serena whispered to herself.
She was caught by surprise when Katherine came back, and she was carrying a tray of food and a glass of milk.
"You need to have dinner first before I can answer all of your questions."
Serena forced herself to smile, while feeling embarassed.
"T-Thank you." she said.
There was an awkward silence between them while she's eating her sandwich. She realized that she's hungry, and that's why she was able to finish a plate of sandwiches. She also drank a glass of milk in one sitting.
