CHAPTER FOURTEEN When Riley took the call, she heard the familiar rumble of Meredith’s voice. “Agent Paige, is there something you’d like to tell me?” She shuddered a little at the question. She could easily imagine her team chief’s scowling dark features, which were daunting enough when he was in a good mood. And he sure didn’t sound like he was in a good mood right now.
