1:14 AM It was already past one after midnight and being frustrated was an understatement. Khloe was probably sleeping already. My friends were still up and it looked like they were not planning to sleep yet. We were in the third series of Harry Potter but they were not even watching it. Well, neither was I because I was thinking about how to sneak out of this room without being caught. However, they were not making it easier for me. My captain brought an alcoholic red wine although she knew that she was light when it comes to the drinking game. Fortunately for her, Bailey was the one who drank most of the beverage. I had no idea if it was a good sign, seeing that she was dancing on the top of the bed like a ballerina. Quinn managed to control her girlfriend from drinking but Arisa seemed hyperactive at the moment as she hummed a classic piano piece, playing along with Bailey. Quinn was sitting on the other side of her bed, back against the headboard as she watched the two in amusement. As for me, I was getting impatient on the couch by the window, wondering if they were planning to end the night or not at all. "I'm sleepy," I announced, trying to get their attention. "I think we should sleep now." "No, not yet! Pizzicato-Polka, please!" Bailey hollered and Arisa changed the tune, moving her arms like an orchestra conductor. Our drunk friend continued her ballet career on the bed. I rolled my eyes at their antics. "Pizzicato-what??" Quinn laughed, totally clueless about the mentioned masterpiece. "Quinn, tone them down. I don't want Miss Summer to wake up from our noises," I tried to convince, wearing a concerned look on my face. Quinn turned to me and gave me a smug look. "What's the rush? It's the weekend. We can get up late later for breakfast, or even for lunch. And Aunt Claire won't be hearing us because the master bedroom is totally soundproof. Don't worry." I crossed my arms impatiently. "What about your sister?" Quinn quirked her eyebrow at me. "And when did you start caring about my sister?" I scoffed, averting my eyes from her in denial. "I don't care about her." "If you say so," the green-eyed blondie shrugged her shoulder before she busted out laughing at Bailey who fell on the floor with a hurtful thud. Arisa just cackled along with her girlfriend, not bothering to help our friend. "I'm fine! I'm fine," Bailey jeered out, crawling up on the bed with a grin on her face. Yeah, this was better than doomsday-Bailey, although this was totally out of her character. I sighed, slouching my body on the couch in irritation. If I could just simply tell them that I would pay Khloe a special visit, I would gladly do it but I was certain that they would ask me questions. I should have known that even if Khloe and I agreed to be friends, it would still look weird. Or maybe it was just weird because I have a little bit of feeling for her. Ugghh, should I just tell them that I'll go to Khloe's room? Damn, I didn't have any choice! "Hey guys," I squeaked out, probably too loud because they all shifted their attention to me. "I- Can I... I mean can I...?" They seemed confused at my stutter. Oh gosh! I definitely couldn't do this! "C-Can I u-use your bathroom?" I asked instead, my mouth apparently chickened out. They all gave me dissimilar expressions. Arisa narrowed her eyes at me, perhaps weirded out while Bailey sprouted a dry look while holding a 'loser' hand gesture. And what I feared the most was Quinn staring at me suspiciously as if she was skinning me alive with her bright eyes. "Yes, you can," Quinn responded, pointing the doorway to her bathroom over her shoulder. "It's literally five steps from your spot. Should I escort you there?" I stood up, too fast actually, and marched towards her bathroom muttering, "I'm just being polite." "No way you're polite, Ry!" Bailey mocked and I just snubbed her, closing the door in exasperation. Gazing at myself in the wall mirror, I let out a stressful puff before placing my face in my hands. I spun around and leaned my back against the bathroom counter, hugging myself in distress. What am I doing? I thought out loud, confused by my own behavior. I wasn't supposed to be like this, crushing on a girl I barely knew at all, opening up to her, and showing her my emotions. Things were getting fücked up. Yes, I admitted that I was having a bit of feeling for Khloe but it was getting out of hand already. It felt like I couldn't control myself anymore when it comes to her. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about her. I couldn't help but want to spend time with her all the time and my manners towards my friends just a while ago were enough proof that I would do anything to be with her. I was becoming addicted to Khloe and I was beginning to dislike this alteration I was undergoing concerning her. And I realized it wasn't about Cassie anymore. Heaven knows I was crestfallen when I thought Khloe was avoiding me in these past few weeks. In addition, once she claimed that she was indeed, not avoiding me, hell knows, I felt so over the moon during that moment. Not to mention, when she invited me to sneak into her room tonight. All the emotions were chaotic. It was that kind of feeling within me- that feeling when you don't even know what the f uck you're feeling anymore. In the midst of my confusion, my phone beeped inside the pocket of my CK sweatshirt. I pulled out my smartphone, whirling around when I saw a message from the girl who was currently occupying my mind. From: Klo-eeeh  I still hear you all from here. You guys are too loud I had to put my headphones on. And I get that you won't be able to sneak out. I'm willing to wait for you though only if you tell me that you will come once they passed out. Or else, I'll go to sleep. I'll just show you some other time. I groaned, feeling guilty over this. Khloe was willing to wait and I wanted to go to her despite the need to manage these confusing emotions over her. I desired to fight with myself but Khloe was making it hard for me. And she seemed so eager to show something important to me. Clenching my jaw, I decided to text her back, accepting that I had no control of myself anymore. Just for tonight! To: Klo-eeeh  I'll come but I'm not sure if they're going to sleep at all. From: Klo-eeeh  Ha-ha, I'll end your misery! You just wait, tough Boots. I frowned at her last message, wondering what she was planning to do. Brushing it off, I walked out of the bathroom, my friends were still high in energy as I expected. This time, they were having a pillow fight like children. There were giggles everywhere and Arisa managed to throw a pillow right to my face. They burst out laughing at me and when I was about to pounce each of them, the sound of the slamming door made us halt and then jump at our own places. "For the love of the holy creampuffs, it's already f**k!ng twilight!!! Kill me now or I'll put all the rest of you under the bed for the rest of your lives! Will you let me have my peace!!!?" Khloe shouted and I couldn't help but swallow from her smoking hotness. Though she already removed her nerdy eyeglasses, Khloe still took my breath away while she was unintentionally showing off her n*****s under her white tank top and caramel legs that could swirl my mind into an illusion of desire. Not to mention, she was freaking mad-attractively mad! Hilary?! You're dead! Abort! Abort, please! "We're not loud!" Quinn argued, skipping towards her sister and glaring straight to her face. "Oh, right!!" Khloe debated sarcastically, "I could even hear your moans from my room. I bet you're sucking face with that 'thing'", she pointed at my Captain, "even though you both have audiences." Was this her plan of ending our misery because I think it was not working? "Don't call my girlfriend like that?!" Damn, Quinn was clearly insulted. In the corner of my eye, Arisa remained silent but Bailey marched furiously from her place. She was fuming and before she could throw a punch at Khloe, I put my arms around her waist and stopped her. "Let go, Ry! She said she wants to be killed!" While Bailey was struggling in my arms, Khloe ignored her but she was staring at Quinn as if she was saying something, "Quinn, Incubus cast the first stone!" "Wh-What?!" Arisa chimed in beside me, confused at her words like me. If Khloe wasn't Quinn's sister, she was probably dead by now in the hands of my Captain. However, I was certain Khloe was taking advantage of being the sister of my Captain's girl. Strangely, Quinn calmed down. She gazed at Khloe as if she understood then she glanced back at us. Her jaded-hazel eyes were oddly on mine for a split second. The blonde had a smug look on her face before she turned to her sister, "Sorry, we were really loud. I guess it's already bedtime." Arisa, Bailey, and I looked at each other, totally bewildered by Quinn's change of behavior. Khloe nodded gratefully and acknowledged my Captain. "Sorry for calling you a 'thing'. Won't happen again," she said before closing the door shut. Quinn swirled towards us and clapped her hands. "Okay, bedtime. C'mon, I'm sleepy anyway," she announced, pushing all of us towards her queen-sized bed and then shut off the film and lights after. Arisa turned the lampshade on, then tugged the hem of her girl's shirt while I pressed down mumbling Bailey on the bed. "What does she mean by 'Incubus cast the first stone?'" Quinn took a second to think before she revealed the truth behind Khloe's words, "It's a secret code between us." "What does it mean?" I was keen to know as I asked in curiosity. Quinn chuckled and gave me a mischievous look. "It's a secret code for a reason." Her girlfriend groaned but Quinn just giggled at her and placed a kiss on her head. "It's better if we sleep on the couch bed. Let Hilary and Bailey sleep together on my bed." Arisa nodded obediently and her girlfriend ushered her on the couch. Once we settled, I couldn't take my mind off the secret code. Hearing my phone beeped, I hid under the blanket and read Khloe's message. From: Klo-eeeh  I'm impatiently waiting... I clamped my lips inward then peeked out to check on my friends. I sent her a message telling her that I should wait for a while to make sure they were already sleeping. While waiting, curiosity still got the best of me so I immediately looked into the search engine and typed the code. The result was still rather puzzling to my dismay. The code was from the song 'Make a Move' by Incubus. Make a move? Make a move? What in the world was she talking about?! .........
