He hadn’t been able to get the delectable Dr. Starr out of his mind all day and night, and by the time he set out to meet him at the hospital the next morning, Caleb had worked himself into a bundle of nerves. He’d been enjoying the little flirty conversation until the vet had brought up getting into trouble and Caleb’s mind had immediately flashed to the little joyride he’d taken with Jules last year and how worried he’d been about losing his job.
