Zelda told her that in 1864 they had started skiing in St. Moritz and now all the young men were having a try at it and finding the sport very challenging.
“It is something you have attempted yourself?” the Lady-in-Waiting asked her.
Zelda shook her head.
“No, Papa is against it. He thinks it is dangerous and perhaps will attract more people than we really need into Switzerland. Equally he cannot help realising it would bring money into the country.”
The Lady-in-Waiting laughed.
“That is what all men always want and seek. So your father eventually will find it is a valuable attraction and indeed I should like to try it myself.”
