Sneaking into Cora’s room was fun. And when she saw us, her expression was hilarious. Truce truly scared her to death. But To make sure she doesn’t blame me for the scaring part, I stood far with my hands raised in surrender. And the moment Truce let her go, she started bursting in anger.
“What the hell is wrong with you guys? What are you doing here? How did you even got in?”
“We were worried about you. We tried to call you and sent a lot of messages, but got no reply from you. So, we came to check. Is everything okay? Did they hurt you?”
“No. I am fine. But you guys broke into my house just to check on me? What if someone caught you here? How did you even got in? I was downstairs all the time?”
