Chapter 6

Both of the men smiled at Anna as they closed the door to the room that they had entered. “Dad I do not like the way that Alex treats his sister. Anna is a very beautiful women and she is also my mate. I do not think she can feel the bond yet.” Blade started to talk as soon as the door closed. Alpha Mike looked at his son and through mind link told him to be quiet until they were sure that Anna was not still in the hall. Once Alpha Mike was sure that the hall was empty he turned to Blade. “Ok now we can talk openly. I am so glad that you have found your mate. So this student exchange idea may have already proved to be a good idea. “ Alpha Mike sat down on the bed so that he and his son could talk over everything that was about to happen. “Lets figure out what all we have to do for this exchange and to also just observe to see exactly what goes on in this pack.” Blade did not really like to whole waiting thing but he knew that sometimes you had to do things you did not like to do in order to get the result that you needed to get. 

“Ok dad I will start to just watch what goes on at the school. Maybe I will see something better than what I have seen here at the pack house. So on that note I will say good night so that I have a lot of energy for tomorrow at school. Oh yeah I meant to tell you I have invited my beta to attend the school also.” Blade said the last part as he opened the door to exit the room. Once Blade was in his own room he got ready for bed. The only problem was that Blade had a hard time even going to sleep because all he could think about was Anna and how wonderful she was. By the time that Blade closed his eye the sun was coming up to introduce a new day. Blade let out a long groan when his alarm clock went off. “I guess it is time to start a new school.”

Anna was also in the same boat as Blade. She was not able to sleep and when she finally closed her eyes the alarm clock went off. “Oh man why did it have to be a school day today.” Anna got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom to take a shower. While the water was warming up Anna looked into the mirror. All she saw was a heavy set girl that no one wanted. The more Anna looked in the mirror the more she saw all the imperfections. Before Anna moved the shower curtain over so that she could get in she had to wipe the tears that were silently falling down her cheeks. Once her shower was finished she made her way to her closet to pick out her outfit of the day. As Anna reached for her standard outfit of leggings and a hoodie there was a knock at her door. Anna wrapped her robe around her body and walked over to the door to see who was on the other side. “Hello dear! It is just dad I wanted to talk to you for a little bit.” Anna heard her dad speak to her through the door. “Come on in dad. I was just about to get dressed.” Anna pulled open the door so that her dad could come into the room. “Go ahead and get dressed I will wait for you right here.” Anna walked back to her closet and finished getting her clothes on. Once Anna had finished getting dressed she walked back into her room and sat on her bed so that her and her father could talk. “Anna I am so proud of you and the fine women that you are becoming. Today I need a really big favor from you. I need you to make sure that Blade and his beta Max have a great day at school. I also need for you to make sure they make it to all their classes. Do you think that you could do that for me today?” Annas dad gave her a small side hug as he asked for the favor. “Yes dad I can do all of that for you. But you do know that no one talks to me at school and that I do not have any friends at school.” But when Anna said that she stopped because she did have one friend but she was not here right now because she was visiting her grandmother. “I take that back dad I do have one friend Meagan. But she is not here right now she is visiting her grandmother in another pack.”  Alpha Dan got a sad look on his face when he heard his daughter talking. “Baby I know it is tough right now but it will get better especially when you meet your mate.” Anna could only put her head on his shoulders. “I know dad but sometimes it is really hard sometimes.” After Anna had calmed down her and her dad made there way down to the kitchen to eat them some breakfast. Once Anna had made her plate and sat down at the table Blade came through the door of the kitchen with another person that was not his dad. All Anna could do was put her head down to look at her plate just so she did not make eye contact with the two of them. 

“Good morning Anna. This is my beta Max, he will also be attending school here in your pack.” Blade introduced Max to Anna hoping that she would lift her head up so that he could see her beautiful face. But no such luck Anna kept her head down while she mumbled a greeting out to Max. Blade and Max both looked at each other then looked at Anna. Luna Sunny and alpha Dan watched the whole thing with sad looks on their faces. “Blade if you and Max are ready we really need to head to school so that we can get your schedules.” Anna finally looked up at Blade. When Anna’s eyes finally set on Blade she caught her breath from how great he looked. Anna just knew that she was about to be bullied so bad for even being in the same room as these two gods that would be attending her school. “Yes we are ready lets get to school please show us the way.” “Bye children have a good day today.” Luna sunny smiled and waved the three out the door. “Dan I hope this goes well for Anna. I just have a bad feeling that we have just made things worse for her.” Alpha Dan walked over and put his arms around Sunny to give her a little bit of support. But he never sad anything to what she had said. They both would just have to wait and see what happened with everything that was about to unfold.
