As the day proceeded Anna showed both the boys around and it was the same thing everytime. Blade and Max were so shocked that as one point they both thought they would punch someone in the face if they said one more thing about Anna. “Blade this pack does not have any idea how to be nice to the people that care about them the most. This pack does not deserve Anna at all.” Max said as he was pulling his shirt back on. Both were finishing up with their PE for the day. “Max man I am almost to the point of calling my dad and telling him to take out all the teenagers in this pack. They have no respect for anyone at all.” Blade slammed his fist into the locker as soon as he shut the door. Both Blade and Max were having a hard time in this pack with everything they saw. No one in their pack was ever treated this way at least as far as they knew. :Blade, we have to do something. I don't know if I can take it anymore. Maybe we should change things around here and run this school so that we can get people to act nicer to Anna.” Max looked at Blade with hopeful eyes when he came up with that idea. Blade thought about what Max just said and he really liked that idea. But first he needed to talk to Alpha Dan and his dad to make this plan work so it might take a little bit of time. “Max sometimes you have great ideas and that reminds me why I am making you my  beta.” Blade walked out of the locker room with Max right behind him.

When they both walked out the door they ran into the football coach. “Boys I was just coming to find you both. I was talking to your coach at your other school and he said that you both are great players.” The coach stopped Blade and Max to talk them into playing with the team. “Hello coach we both were just about to come and look for you. We both would like to join the team.” Blade leaned against the wall while they all talked about when practices were and what positions Blade and Max would play in. “Ok so Blade you will be quarter back. I mean have a good one but from my understanding you are much better. Now Max you will be offensive line and help to protect Blade. Is that ok with you two?” Coach was texting himself a note as he was talking. “I think that is great. I will always protect Blade, he is my main man.” Max smiled but suddenly stopped smiling as he looked over the coaches shoulder. Behind the coach Anna was being pushed against the wall by her own brother. As Alex raised his fist to punch Anna, Blade and Max tackled Alex to the floor. “Get off me.” Alex started to shout as the two boys held him to the ground. “You do not ever hit a girl or even a women! Do you hear me!” Blade was yelling into Alex’s face. Max had to let go of Alex in order to pull Blade off of him. “Blade dude go and check on Anna I got Alex.” Max pushed Blade over to Anna as soon as he pulled him off of Alex. Blade rushed over to Anna to make sure that she was ok and that she was not hurt at all. “Anna are you ok? Did he hurt you at all?” Blade gently helped Anna up off the floor. Anna was in shock. First her own brother was choking her then all of a sudden he was not there anymore and Blade was helping her off the floor. Anna tried to clear her throat but was having a hard time because her brother was able to  really damage her vocal cords when he was chocking her. As Anna was trying to talk Blade looked into her face and realized that she needed water. Looking around the hall way that had filled up with other students Blade called out to them to bring water. Not a one of the students moved they just stood there and watched what was going on. “SOMEONE needs to get me some water and I mean NOW!!!” Blade roared to the crowd. One of the teachers that had walked out of their room walked over with a bottle of water. Blade took the water and gently got Anna to start to drink it. “Go slow it is going to hurt a little bit until your wolf heals you.” 

Anna could not believe that she was being held by Blade and that he was being so gentle with her. No one (other then her father and mother) had ever treated Anna with this much care. “Thank you.” Anna whispered to Blade as she pushed the water away. At that moment there was a noise behind them that made them both turn their heads that way. Max was sitting on top of Alex on the floor. Every time that Alex would try to get up Max would punch him in the face again. “What I am just keeping him down until you make sure Anna is ok?” Max innocently asked when he looked over at Blade and Anna.
