Fiona’s POV As tired as my body was, I still couldn’t sleep. My mind kept roaming and I couldn’t get Isla’s story out of my head. Our situation might not be exactly alike, but there is a chance I might end up with the same fate. What would I do with myself? I can always get a job, but how about the emotional trauma that would come with it? It is already hard for me to accept the truth of never seeing my child again.
