Callum hissed continuously like a spiteful snake. His wolf growled restlessly. All of his entire body can’t keep still. He probably should have done on a counter attack on Ronan and not spare him at all. He felt humiliated in front of the council when Ronan announced the coming of his child. He had hoped it would be kept a secret until it is all done.
He held tightly onto the glass in his hand before slamming it against the wall in anger. He was beginning to regret his decision to trust Freya. She didn’t tell him Ronan would be making such big move. With his announcement, the entire kingdom would be rooting for him. Which means any direct harm on the Alpha King would lead to a revolt from the people and anyone who takes his place.
