/Daisy’s POV/
“He’s doing it again,” Mia said loudly with a nasty frown on her face. “Why the f**k is he resisting a shift?” She sounded frustrated. I don’t think Ember’s doing it deliberately though, I can tell he wants to shift back as fast as he could but something’s hindering him from doing that. It’s probably because of what happened back then. “Daisy, what are you doing?” Mia called in alarm as I found myself walking closer to him.
“He’s in pain” Was my only response as I closed the distance between us. His fur kept growing and retracting a sign that he was having difficulty shifting. I sighed and reached for his hand.
