“How are you feeling?” I asked after returning to Ember’s room to inform him that dad was here, he probably already smelled him but I doubt he would want to meet him yet. Also, I have a few comments of own on his crawling relationship progress with Daisy.
“Not the best” He groaned in response while adjusting his back against his headboard. He had his blanket over his legs and his phones in his hands, probably chatting with Lauren to wind away time.
