No Forgiveness

I woke up with heavy headache with a beeping sound, I have been so many time here that I open my eyes to see what is going on. As I open my eyes, I felt someone was holding my hand and noises can be heard from distances like more than 2 people are arguing.  As I tried to focus on the voice I heard someone stand and started to rub my hairs, I turn to see Sergei looking at me and trying to smile and failing, A lone tear made its way down to his cheek. I instantly got panic, is something happened to my baby? is he alright? what happened?. Sergei noticed worry in my eyes and started rubbing his arm to relax and said.

'Hey buttercup, relax please calm down. You are stressing your baby, it's not good please listen to me, Calm down please'. he pleaded and I notice the beeping of machine slowed down, Why I haven't notice that before?.

'Is my boy okay?' I stammered. He nodded and started to cry even more. What happen? I couldn't speak my mouth feels dry. He offered my water and help me up. I drain water and felt good, I turn left and ask Sergei. 'What happened? why you crying? You are freaking me out, Please  tell me my boy is fine?'. He took a deep breath started to make circle in my palm, something he always does when he wants me to relax to sooth me, he is not very good with the words like other. He looked up at me and said ' You scared me, I thought I lost you or worse my nephew. When Ryder told me that they have rushed you to the emergency room. Please Ronie don't scare me like this ever again. Please?. he was crying by now, their have been few moments when he cried in all these years but not like today, their are few lone tears, nothing like this. I comforted him.

'Hey hey hey, come on look up, I am alright see that irritating machine, your nephew is alright, He is kicking right now, please stop crying okay? can you do that for your nephew? please?. I ask him in politest manner I could muster, he nodded in response and look up at me. I ask again 'Where are others?, what are these noises?' pointing finger at the door. He gestured at the door notifying me that everyone is outside. I nodded and ask him to get them in.

Sergei went out to inform everyone that I am awake and to get doctor cause I am not feeling quite best. In few moments door busted open and I see all my brother's rushed inside with few other, they were hidden behind my brothers tall figure so I ignored.

'You okay Ronie? You need water? food? anything? 'Ask Pasha, I shook my head in No. Nik sat at my bed and just looked at me just like everyone else, No one said anything then Ryder break the silence, which was strange cause he never say anything in our family matter, He is quite most of the time he comforts Sergei and everyone else who needed support but never interfered.

'Ronie, You need to rest and avoid stressing yourself. It's not good for you or your baby. Do you know your blood pressure keeps hitting highs, Its not soon when you will lead to something unexpected. Please talk to us, I know it's not my place to ask Or say anything, But I would really love if you keep your distance with people who can brought you stress or negative thoughts.' He took a deep breath waited for few seconds to see anyone speak when no one uttered he continued.

' I know everyone in this room is more then capable of keeping you safe from outside world Or I may say Mafia or gang world, But again who is going to protect you from them. I know what is going on and never utter a word to you or your family including Sergei cause its your family matter. But it is getting too much to handle for you let alone for your baby. Its's the third time you have been rushed to Emergency room in past 6 month, you and your baby both are underweight. Please care to explain how they are keeping you safe? when you are not healthy, I mean look at you no offence you're pretty but all bruises up, and weak no matter how much you eat. Its not getting used when you are around these people you call Family.' He finished with multiple expression on his face, it was anger for my family, pity for me and sad for my baby.

No one said a word, It felt like everyone was in their deep thoughts. Then someone spoke, the least expected one, the one who created all this mess in the first place, Yes you all are right it was Dimitri.

'He is right, we can't keep doing this, we got your reports and they are not good. 'He said standing at the door way. I guess that turn something on in everybody cause now everyone is looking at him and not floor and Lord knows what gotten into Ryder today, he was the one who got defensive and reacted in impulsively unlike to his nature.

'I think you should keep your f*****g mouth shut. I swear to god if you were not the father of my nephew, I would have killed you with my own hands, I don't care where the f**k you come from, who the f**k you are, you don't f*****g scare me.' he said fuming in anger, boy he can curse? who knew that? let alone 4 times in one sentence WOW.

'I would like to see that little boy, don't dig your own grave' Dimitri said in stern. before Ryder could response Or anyone else could say I interrupted.

'Why you here?' I ask clearly annoyed by his presence and behavior. 'I came here to see you, I have right to know what is going on with my child.' He said in mater-of-fact tone. Boy this man got some nerves.

'Really?, I guess you should go back to your f*****g weak memory and and remember what I said about claiming my baby.' I said more calmly not wanted to stress my baby anymore.

'Clearly, you forgot that, I can claim what is mine and have it as well. No one is going to stop me not you not you little brother's boyfriend. Am I clear to everyone?.' He said, who does he thinks he is? why no one is stopping him? has everyone surrendered already? is this what Ryder meant by I should stay away from negative people?. No no, he cant keep doing this to me and my family.

'You can't do this?' I said, and he raised his brows. 'Watch me, then' He said. Before he could say more Dr.Luna came in

'How are you feeling?' she ask me I responded her and told her I don't feel that good she nodded in response and then looked at me and said. 'You see Ronie, you have been admitted to the hospital cause you  passed out in your party and had bump your head in something hard, there are no concussion but again your blood pressure is constantly rising and the medication is not that helpful either we cant overdose you due to pregnancy. You really need to rest and not stress yourself out, their are already complication and this stress is making things worse, it may lead you to preterm labor, which I assure you wont be good. Please prepare yourself for the consequences, cause things are now getting out of our hands. Your baby is less then 2 pounds which is below average and look at you, you are not even 100 pounds. Do you really look like 6 months healthy pregnant woman? I guess Not.' She said, when I didn't said anything she proceeded. ' you have entered your 7 months now and you need to be careful now, I will prescribe you some therapies to release stress and you should start your Lamaze classes. In my opinion you could take the father, it would be better.' she said and looked at Dimitri and he nodded, father my ass. I am not going anywhere with him not even hell.

As soon as doctor left, Dimitri turn towards me and said. ' I have already registered us for the classes, first sessions starts  on Wednesday, you will discharge tomorrow first thing in the morning, you have two days rest and sleep. Your stuff is in process, it will be packed and moved till the middle of the night to my house. Any questions better keep them to yourself.' he said everything in one breath before I could comprehend anything he made his way towards me, eyed everyone and started to talk again. 'I don't need any kind of trouble from now onward, sooner the better, No one is going to stop me, you all should be thankful of me, that I am not moving her to Russia'. he finished  and the last sentence was enough to send rage in me.

'What do you think you are doing? huh? who gave you rights to move me anywhere? I am not going anywhere with you.' I said and crossed my arms in front of me.

'Really?, will see that soon, you are moving in with me tomorrow, will discuss necessary arrangements later, Now you need to rest.' He said with blank face. Is he always this bossy? don't know what took me but its kind a hot.

'Will you boss me around now?' I ask. He didn't say anything, just went outside with Nik. Who know what he is up to now?

'Will no one stop him? Why you all even here if nobody is going to say anything' I said angrily.

'Want anything to eat?' Pasha ask with hope, ' Ugh, get out all of you NOW.' I yelled.

What will  I do now? I don't wanna live with him? more or less I don't want him anywhere near me. I can't forgive him what he has done. Abandoning your own child, Letting people judge me? It's way to much, I can't forgive him nor let him in this time.

Morning came way to fast, I was discharge from the hospital, To my surprise Dimitri showed up this time and  he was the one who took me home actually not home, to his house. Well you can say Mansion, it was huge and beautiful, nice long concrete  drive way, the frontward  was decorated with all different kind of flowers and a cute little fountain in the middle enhancing its beauty. Inside was more beautiful then outside white painted walls with the touch of golden living room was bigger then my house, furniture facing left with mean dinning room is on the left, Kitchen was big black and grey contrasted there was a dinning table which can fit more than 20 people. There was 2 doors on the right and in the end of the living room there was a stair case leading to the second floor, I followed Dimitri to the second floor and it leaded us to the hallway rooms on left and right, we went to right side and again on the right side there were rooms on both sides, How many rooms are there in this house?, I kept my mouth shut and walk behind Dimitri we pass two door and then he open the third door, and it caught my breath in my throat, Bedroom was black and golden themed. In the middle of the room was  two stairs and on top a queen size bed, a ceiling to floor length window and a french  door which leads to balcony  in my opinion, a dresser and another  two door which will be bathroom and what is other door for?, I was in awe when Dimitri cleared his throat.

'Maribel moved in  next door to keep you accompany but don't except her to be around much cause she is handling our business in Italy, so may be chances are she will moving a lot lately. I live adjacent to your room, all your stuff has been unpack you can take a look and if you want any kind for rearrangement you can tell me or directly tell  Jade, she is my housekeeper normally she came twice a week since now we are living here she will be visiting twice a day, for food you are free to cook anything you want but do have a chef her room is on the other side of the house on the left 2 door on your right her name is Camilla. One more important thing your bodyguards will be here in an hour, Please i don't need any kind of argument or discussion regarding your safety. We all have already suffered a lot Especially you and your child and what happen in that event, Moretti won't take their defeat. You rest Camilla will wake you up once the lunch is prepared, If you want you can walk around the house but not for too long.. Now If you will excuse me, I have some important matters to handle, I will be in my office it is in the end of the hallway only black door on the floor.' he turn around to leave but then again turn around and ask  'And yes, any question?'. I was speechless but still manage to say.

'Ummm, yeah I need baked chicken and mashed potatoes for lunch anything else will work but mashed potatoes is must and which one is  baby room? and where is Diego? He isn't taking my calls I haven't seen him at all.' I said what is wrong with these brother?, does they have some kind of agreement one brother at a time?

'Actually, Ummmm, I have some explaining to do, but I have urgent matters in hand, why don't you rest will discuss at lunch, sounds like a plan?' he ask clapping his hands together.

'Really? you gonna explain me why you abandon me and your son for 3 weeks and dated that Russian Barbie? and you explain me why I moved in with you? Plus where is Diego?, WOW doesn't sounds like you.' I said smirking a little, He chuckle a little and said 'I doesn't and I wont. I will only thing that happen after you blacked out at the party, nothing more Or less. Now Bed.' He said and pointed his finger to bed.

'Fine , wake me up once lunch is done and don't forget mashed potatoes.' I said removing my flats and moving towards the bed.  He didn't say anything just turn and left, I was so exhausted from everything I went to dreamland as soon as my body got in contact with comfy bed.

I felt someone's hand on me and they were shaking me, I slowly open my eyes and saw Dimitri shaking me and asking m to get up. I rubbed my eyes to open and sat up on the bed. Then Dimitri pulled up a bed table from the floor and put it on the bed I gave him a confused look.

'I thought you must be worn out from everything, So I brought our lunch up in your room, we can talk here more comfortably without anyone eavesdropping on us. I hope it's fine with you?,' He ask me, I was s busy looking at him and adjusting with the change of his behavior when I didn't responded he added 'We can go back downstairs anytime if you want?'. 

'No no, its fine. Honestly more then fine, I am still very tired don't know why? It just I can't relax no matter what.' I said. 'Actually, Its your medication effecting your body and making you tired so that you can rest more and be more stress free, my doctor suggest this to Dr.Luna and she figured something and made changes in your medication, Don't worry you be fine the results are impressive.' He said, placing our food on our plates.

'So, shoot' I said taking a spoonful of mashed potato. 'What?' he said. 'You said you have explain me stuff, so shoot' I said. 'Oh that, yeah after you blacked out we took you hospital, It was around 11 when Val called us and told about ummm situation that occurred back in Russia that need me, But I couldn't just leave, you know. So, Diego been my brother my underboss and second incharge when I am not around, he suggested that he will handle the matter and left so do Maribel for Italy, That's why they both are not around, Maribel will be back maybe tomorrow till midnight, but it will take a bit of time for Diego to return.' he said. 'Okay, I got that, but why he isn't taking my calls?' I ask. 'I have no idea, but he is very busy at the moment due to situation, plus I have been updating him about your health, he will call you soon I believe, He is also going crazy there Val told me.' he said, 'What makes you say that?' I ask in confusion. 'Actually, he isn't very used to situations, I mean usually I or Maribel handle these kind of stuff and he couldn't be here for someone name Grayson, Lord know who the f**k is Grayson.' He said. 'Hey don't curse Grayson,' I said hitting him lightly on his arm. 'Really?, then you tell me who he is so that I can meet him and hit him hard.' he said  and I started laughing.

'What?' he asked fully confused now. 'Sorry, you can't meet him, at least not till next 2 months' I said between laughing. 'First stop laughing and tell me what is so funny, Second why I can't meet him till 2 months? 'he ask. 'You, you are so funny, and enough with the circles, He name my child and his nephew Grayson after your grandfather's name, you see he planned to named his own child to name it, but his nephew is next in line so why not, is not like he will love him any less then his own child.' I let out all, don't know but I am feeling comfortable sharing these piece of info with him.  'I see, I take back my curse, I thing it's a nice name for your baby.' he said in soft tone, felt like he was hurt or something but why? he wasn't here to name our baby. 

'Ohh please not you too, I hated this name, its a grandpa name, I don't want my son name to be this old, I want a modern and meaningful name for my Son, doesn't matter in which language it is just like my name.' I said feeling proud on my name. 'Good to know, I said that because I thought you both decided together, I didn't want to be rude but I hated this name myself, even on my grandpop's, He was a very important person at our hometown, but his name doesn't you know quite reflected his personality.' he said putting dirty plated on the food trolley. 'By the way, what's meaning for your name and In what language.' He ask, I think he is try small talk? maybe try to get to know me kind a stuff, let's give it a shot maybe?.

'Actually, Veronica was acquire from Latin  and Greek  which is vera from Latin means True and  eikon from Greek means Image. True Image is the meaning of my name, My father opted that for me, he always wanted his first born to be a daughter, he was very fond of daughters and wanted only one daughter, weird I know, he never told anyone why not even my mom. Even, he once told my mom that they will keep having babies till he will get a daughter.  I still smile at the memory, sad that we couldn't spend more time together.' I explained. ' Hey, its okay things happen, they still loves you no matter what' he said , wow he is comforting me now 'I am sure, he would have kicked your ass for abandoning me twice and for getting me pregnant, no matter if he worked for you or not.' I told him smiling at the memory. 'You wont let it go, won't you.?' he ask

'Never, I won't forgive you till me last breath for abandoning us for so long.' I said. he was quite for sometime and then said 'Fine, then I guess, have to keeping trying for one from you.' 'Sure, wish you all the luck in the world, cause you going to need.' I chuckle. we did some more small talk to get to know each other, basically he ask and I answered him. After an hour or so he left me to take well needed rest and I went back to sleep.
