What's Next

It's been two week, since I had last encounter with him. I don't like calling his name, It still feel strange to my tongue. It feels like nothing changed at all. Once again he doesn't exist, He hasn't called or visited me since the night of Confession. He wasn't their the day I got discharged from that stupid Hospital. I am pissed, Cause of that doctor, Dr.Fredrick yes yes, I  know all he wanted for me was best , but is it really necessary to keep me in that room for a whole week?. But again he was really concern about me and his own life, apparently my brothers, Diego, Val and Maribel everyone has threaten poor Dr.Fredrick for his life, If I suffered any post trauma from that Accident of mine. 

 It's been a week since I have been back from Hospital and everything changed my brothers are now obsessed with my and my baby's health, you wont believe they are planning to make me move downstairs, why? cause one and only reason am pregnant. Little too weak from being 6 months, My baby and I need recovery and he need to rest more, climbing stairs 5 times a day is not good. He was in great stress when that incident happened, everyone is trying their best including me to keep my baby happy and healthy,. 

Diego, has been a great company. He took me few places like park, baby shopping, baby clothes shopping, My maternity shopping, You know when a woman get's pregnant not her entire body changes but her entire wardrobe needs to be changed, from inner wear's to night wear, from casual to dresses and boy that's a hell of a shopping, all thanks to Diego he let me pick whatever I want from clothing to food. He is the best unlike his Brother who knows where he is?, I haven't ask anyone nor they informed me, who cares? I got more then enough people to keep me company half of my pregnancy journey has been over already, If he doesn't wants to be involve in remaining 3 months then no problem,  who is complaining? me? HELL NO. I guess he is the reason I am in this mess in the first place but it seems like he doesn't care enough, Let's leave this discussion for some other time. Today, is a good day cause I am taking Diego, Nik and Maribel to the theater, actually Nik is taking me, so I thought what better way to make a move and put Nik and Maribel in a ring circle?, So I came up with the plan to take Maribel and Diego with me, Diego being Diego, will be overprotective towards me and I can't sit for straight 2 hours especially for a movie, I will make an excuse that I need to use restroom or want popcorn or something like that and will take Diego with me so that they can process some of their liking towards each other, Once out from theater will drag Diego in any activity or will call Val, seems like they are also having some kind of thing going on but I can't put my finger on it, One couple at a time phewwww, Let's see how much difference will it make in between Nik and Maribel.

I was brought back to the world of living by Pasha, he wants something from me, I feel like cause from morning he is asking me what I want and putting extra effort in everything,  

'You Listening?' Pasha ask again, 'huh?, What does it look like?' I snap at him. 'Someone clearly woke up in the wrong side of the bed today?' He ask. 'What do you want?' I ask clearly agitated by him, 'Okay, first off all drop the attitude and stop being bitchy towards me, second of all I have been talking to you for past 20mins, and you haven't said a word, why?' he ask in frustration, whoa 20 min its a long time and true I haven't heard a word. 'Umm, I am really sorry, I don't feel good maybe that's why I zone out' I stated 'Who is not feeling good?' ask Diego from doorway of our backyard. No no no, if he learnt I am not feeling good, he won't let me leave and my plan will be ruin, before Pasha could say anything I butt in. 'I was, but now I have seen you, I am feeling amazing.' I flirted a bit. He loves when I do that and he forgets what we were talking about or anything important, I have been using this trick a lot lately.

'I see, I have that effect on teenagers, totally fine not your fault.' Diego said amused by himself, you see he is 23 and I am 20 and pregnant with is nephew still he consider me as a 15 year old.

'I am 20, an adult not a teen anymore.' I said. 'You see, you turn 20 a month ago its really doesn't make any difference' Diego teased. ' Don't make me any more angry then I am already.' I said pointing my finger at Diego. he raised his hands in surrender and shrug his shoulder and walk back in the house. I turn towards Pasha and ask him what he was saying.

'What were you saying?' I ask again. 'I was telling you about you friend Crystal, How I met her at the drug store, When I was buying your medication and she told me that her twin brothers are back from Italy and throwing a party and she ask me to be her date. So, what do you think?' he said, wow that was fast.

'What do you mean what I think?' I ask him again clearly confused. 'I mean, what do you think I should go with her, I mean its her brothers party and god knows what they have been up to all those years in Italy and do you think I have a chance with her considering my reputation towards women.' he said and that made me more confused, what is wrong with everyone around me, they should have learned by now that this pregnancy had made me brainless, moody b***h. They should really start explaining there words in big sentences so that they can make more sense to me. 'Can you please stop talking to me puzzles and start explaining me what you really want to say?.' I huff. 

'Ohh okay, I want to say that, we have known Moretti's all these years, but something doesn't fit in right. You remember how Mr and Mrs Moretti died in an unknown accident, even police seems to be in shock and cant investigate their Accident and have to close their case due to lack of witness and information. Then again twin flee all the way to Italy leaving  Crystal here alone all by herself, don't forget their frequent visit to the states and throwing party whenever they're around. All the fame and wealth, I seriously think something is fishy. Dot you think so?' He elaborated.

'Okay, I see your point now, But what can you or we do?.Especially now that we know what all mess we all are in.' I said. 'What do you mean? what mess we are in?' He ask confused,

'You serious right now? Can't you see? Whom we surrounded with? Our father was the gang leader, Our own brother took over his place, Val was in gang and now she is mafia, Don't forget me having a child with most dangerous and feared mafia in Russia and States, For Christ sake i am having an heir to his empire. Can't you see all this and relate a bit? I mean who knew Mafia exist 2 week ago? I thought they went extinct just like Dinosaur once did, but here I am pregnant with one of them not any but with the king. So its normal to be paranoia, actually to me now it makes more sense then ever. Maybe they re vampire or something, they are weirdly handsome and pale, being having Hispanic heritage they should be dark tan and they always throw party and comes out during night, maybe they wanted to feed on human that's why all these parties are about but then again their has been no person missing report has been filed. Who knows what they are may be werewolf or something, if not vampire.' I said to him more like to myself and Pasha was looking at me with the weird face and the expression which says I am a pregnant mad woman, who can blame me? when you have 24x7  death target on you and on your baby's head anyone can go mad and made assumptions. 

'You sure cupcake, that you are okay? do you have any concussion or any headache? maybe nightmares are back in different form?' Pasha ask me in concerning manner while rubbing my arm. 'I don't know, I mean I still have nightmares about what happen but I am alright and why do you ask?' I said shrugging my shoulders.  "Tell me if there is anything wrong? And you tell me why would i ask? you are talking about f*****g vampire and werewolf s**t, I know what happen is a lot to take in, we are here for you and your baby, He is our nephew, will f*****g die before letting anyone harm you guys.  I know Dimitri is being an asshole and he acting in the same way but apart form him, we all are here for you guys, don't think to much.' He said holding me by my shoulder. 

'I know, its just he told me he wanted to be in our life and the min I let him in, He vanished in puff of Air, its hurtful. Its not like I demanded anything from him in the first place but he shouldn't hurt us like that.' I said, let me tell you it feels a lot better when you let out your pain. ' Don't cry cupcake, he will come around he the father of your child.' he said wiping my tears. 'That's the whole point brother, everyone is here expect him, He's the father, he put me in this mess, none of you guys, he should be hear none of you guy, its not that I am not glad that you all are here for me but......forget it there's no point ripping the band-aid over an over again.'I said. 'So, date with crystal huh?' I ask while changing the subject. 'Ummmm, I guess you know she is hot, sexy and all but I want more from her, which is very unlike for me. I am bit nervous or may be scared a bit.' he said cheekily . 'Don't worry you will be fine, she a sweet girl, we have been friends forever now. She likes you I can tell, just go for it and don't screw her over, if you not sure about her or your feelings.' I said in stern tone, you know it will be awkward. 'I promise I wont.' he said while hugging me from the side and left me alone with my thoughts. 

I really can't believe it worked, my plan for Nik and Maribel actual worked, I told them I want Doritos with salsa sauce and butterscotch ice cream, Diego got up to get me my food then I excused myself to use restroom and luck was on my side, Diego was coming with my food so I convince him that Nik and Maribel really like the movie and I am feeling suffocated in the hall, so lets go and eat outside.  He agreed with me and went out and hit to the nearest park.

'So, you okay?' Diego break the silence between us. 'Yes, I am perfectly fine, why you ask?' I ask him . 'Nothing , just making sure of your health.' He said as much as I want to believe him I think he wants to say something or wanna ask something maybe?. 'Come on, spill the beans on' I said. 'what do you mean?' He said confused. 'Come on ask me what you wanna ask or tell me your big secret like you're secretly Gay or something, come on' I said, He chuckled before saying 'Its not much, but I you know Dimitri is not in states' I was shock and I whipped my head towards him 'He left the next morning when you wakeup, and hasn't been back since then, haven't called or answered our calls. I heard you and Pasha talking about him this morning I thought it would be better if I told you his whereabouts.' he said in small voice. 

'You know eavesdropping is considered as bad habit? and honestly I don't care where he is or worse with whom he is, but it does hurt knowing that me and my baby's life has a death threat all because of him and he promise me wont leave us at least till I gave birth and I haven't seen him after that promise, I don't think I can ever trust him with my or my baby's life and no matter what I won't let him near my baby ever again. The moment I trust him was the worst decision I have ever made, let alone I allowed him in my and my baby's life, I feel like such an Idiot.' I said to him. 

'Can I ask you something?' he said after mins of silence. 'shoot' I said. ' Do you wanna go to this party, I got invite to?.' He stammered  I gave him a smile and said 'Are you asking me out Mr.Diego Averin?. and started laughing. ' Of course not, But yes I want you to be my date, you know Maribel got invite and she is definitely taking your brother from what I can see. and Anton has his Latin chick to accompany him, I will be the only one left without date, plus it will be good for you and baby'. He said in oblivious. 'How is it good for me and my baby?' I ask.

' You will got to eat delicious food, change of the environment, you will get to meet people from different part of the world plus you get you dress all up.' He said with a smile. 'I got to dress up? have you seen me lately?' I ask him pointing at myself. 'Why? What's wrong with you?' he said confused once again 'I look like a hippo zombie, with big dark circles under my eyes, all these fading bruises on my face, not even get me start on my giant fat ass and this huge belly bump. I can't look at my own feet.' I pouted ,and he started to laughing not again. 'actually you do look like Zombie but hippo I doubt that. I would have ask someone else, But I don't have that much of acquaintance in the city, always had one night stand you know how we Averin brother's are?, he said proudly. 'Of course I know, you can see one of the result, right here and right in front of you' I said pointing my belly. 'Don't drag Grayson in this.' he stern and I gave him "who the f**k is Grayson look" so he elaborated 'My nephew Grayson jamie Averin.' He said in proud, Okay something is seriously wrong with these Averin boys. 'No f*****g way, I will be the one to name my child, no one else, No matter I like Jamie as a middle name, but Grayson no way,' I said shaking my head in disbelief. 'What's wrong with Grayson?' he ask. 'Its Old and really Old and I dont know its Old that's all' I said Unable to reason with him. 'It my Grandfather's name, I wanted my child to have it, but its not going to happen in anytime soon, So I decided to give it to my first ever born nephew and I really like my nephew's mother, She became I very good friend of mine, which is strangely true.' He said. 'Awwwwwwww, I love you too dumbass, Still no to Grayson,' I said and started laughing cause I know what he is trying to do here. ' You smartass at least say that you will think about it?' He said pinching my nose. ' Ouch, dont do that I hate it and why say it, When I am not gonna do it.' I said sticking my tongue out for him. 'Fine, Your loss, he was a very great leader, everyone still praise him in our hometown back in Russia.' he said I hummmed in response. 'So, Will you go with me?' I broke the silence again. 'Only if you will buy me a dress to wear in this party?' I negotiated. 'When have I ever not paid for your shopping little momma.' He asked well true, from past one week he has been paying for everything I point my finger at. 

'I have a question?' I broke the silence this time. 'Go on' he said looking across the children playing on the swings and sipping his soda. 'Why haven't you ask Val for this event?' I said and he choked on his soda. 'WHAT???? What do you mean? Why haven't ask Val?' he stammered I knew it he like her. 'I mean you clearly like her, you can have a chance with her, if you have asked her? instead of me.'I said in oblivion. 'First, I didn't know that you know about my liking towards her, second she is leaving for Russia tonight, Dimitri needs her there, apparently for some reasons she wont be back till Saturday next week and party is on Sunday this week.' he said. Why I dont know about any of this?, Why she haven't told me? Why Diego knows and I don't? Come on Val, you have to do some serious explaining to do this time.

'Let's take you home, its getting cold and late. Come on.' Diego said giving me his hand to stand up. 'I have to go o my swimming classes, will you drop me there?, Sergei will pick me up once am done.'  ask him ' Sure, Tell me where it is and I can pick up as well and if you want I can keep you company, you never know I can hook up with someone?' He said wiggling his eyebrows, such an ass. 'Sure, but no hooking up my trainer, other then that you are free as a bird.' I said smiling.

With that we left for my swimming classes.
