Little Girl's mafia

Breakfast.

I was in Val's closet, trying to get dressed in something that will hide my mark at its max, and doesn't attract too much attention. But, I couldn't put my finger on what I wanted, I tried and tried, so I gave up and sat on the floor, tears started to well up in my eyes, "I couldn't find a piece of a cloth to get myself dress, I can't believe, what is happening to me". Now I was full on crying when Val came to check up on me.

'Why you not dressed yet?', she ask me with her hand on her hips. 'I can't find anything to wear in your closet', I cried harder this time. 'Oh my god Ronie, its okay why you crying?, I'll help you get dressed, let me know what you are in mood to wear?'. She ask me, while sorting her clothes. 'I want something that can cover hickeys at its fullest, maybe not fullest at least hide the maximum portion of it'. I sigh and stood up on my feet, to look for myself as well.

'Here, put these on, it will cover everything and for your upper neck portion will apply some makeup and put scarf on okay?. I nodded and she left me with her cloths. I put on a peach color high neck tuck in blouse, with the pair of light orange high length straight mini skirt, with the matching flowers printed chiffon scarf, perfect is the word i would say for my look, I let me hairs down some on my shoulders to avoid any kind of peak. I took a good look through the mirror one last time, to make sure everything is set for the day, I will be meeting my brothers in few hours at the city hall,   to make sure the purchased paintings are dispatched, remaining are again packed and returned to my house studio, and some other stuff like that.

Me and Val were having breakfast when doorbell rang, I panic instantly, donno why but I did, Val give my hand a quick squeeze just to calm me down, I look at her and nodded. She pen the door and there stood my brother Pasha with all his glory, staring intensely at Val. I think he likes her or have a huge crush on her or something like that, But Val being my best friend and only friend, he never tried anything, which I am thankful for, cause you know, things get ugly with friends when there respective sibling sleep with you and never call you again and you have to see them every other day or occasions,   He is not a commitment kind off person, I am not saying he's a player or anything, he is just not into relation kind of man. Its not like Val is looking for relation or anything, then again both are same and different at the same time.I am just happy the way thing are, Nothing more or less.

'Hey Val, what's up?, looking good in bunny shorts PJ's. Pasha said with a smirk on his face.

'What do you want Pasha?'. She said, really what's up with this girl today? Remind me to ask her when we are alone.

'Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today?' He tease her, clearly enjoying her mood swings. I step in, Clearly not want to mess Val's mood any more.

'Hey bro, how come you here?, I was suppose to meet you at the city hall right?. I said

'Yes right, I just missed my cupcake so much, so  thought I should pick her up. Is there a problem?' He question raising an eyebrow.

' Nope , not at all, let me let my stuff I'll be back in a min' With that, I went to collect my stuff from Val's apartment. 5 mins later I came back.

'Lets go brother, but you owe me a coffee'. I said walk up to the door. Than kiss Val's cheek and hug her ' I'll call you okay?, will talk and meet soon.' I whispered in her ears. She nodded in response and wave us.

'I owe you nothing cupcake, you should be thanking me, I saved your ass.' he replied back. Okay this day is really getting worse then I expected.

'How you saved my ass?, What you talking about?' I asked him with a confused expression.

'That I will tell you, while on our way to coffee shop, because you're buying me one.' with that he gave me that stupid smirk of his and hopped on the drives seat.

'Fine, but its got to be big favor, otherwise you will be buying me breakfast with coffee?' I said while making myself comfortable on passenger seat and putting my seat belt on.

'Will see that cupcake', And he drove us  off to the nearest coffee shop.

5 mints later

'Tell me, how you save my dumb ass?' I question as soon as we pull up in front of the coffee house.

'Ohh yeah sure, get your cash ready cupcake, Austin called nik yesterday, Did that ring any bells?, He questioned me wiggling his eyebrow staring straight into my eyes. 

'A..Aus..Austin called?' I stuttered 

'Yes, he did, Infact he told him that, you and Val hit Blue Raven last night. After  assuring us that you both are heading to Val's place, you both lied to us, and didn't care to tell anyone apart from that you both Idiots let that out? What are you both 12? Let me guess Val's plan to celebrate you success?. He start talking and asking question without waiting for my replied. So I release a frustrated sigh and move to get my coffee. 

' Veronica Alexia Petov don't you dare to walk away from me, when I am asking you a question.' He growled. , 

I stop and turn around to face him ' First off all, you didn't ask a question, you ask multiple question and didn't wait for my response. I didn't see a point waiting here and get accused, So I thought why dont I get both of us a green tea latte and I can tell you exactly what happen. So are you still Up for my offer Or you wanna yell some more at me?' this time I was pissed at him, I crossed my hands over my chest just to make my point more clear.

He shook his head in disbelieve and sigh, 'Go ahead get us latte, I accept your offer.' with that I went the shop and get us two green latte , bagel for me and chocolate doughnut for my brother, I know its his favorite and it will put him in a good mood, I really need him to be in good mood.

'Here latte for you, doughnut my treat', I kissed his cheeks while taking a seat across him.

'Thanks cupcake, you always knew how to put me in a mood, right?' I nodded with smile in response.

'Come one, spill your beans, tel me everything from start, and DON'T miss out any single details, I mean it cupcake.' I said in a stern tone. I got panic a little but decide to ask him a question and then let the whole truth out.

'Okay, but I still dont get it, how you saved me? Or what does that mean?' I ask him. He shrugged his shoulders a little then said ' I may or may not have told Nik and Sergie, that you told me and I gave you both permission and Austin doesn't know about it'. I smile at him, I knew it he will always have my back no matter what position I am in. So I decide to tell him the entire truth including the Dimitri and Hotel part. I know I know, I should think otherwise but I owe him this much at least, I know he will understand and he can help me find Dimitri Or may be not, Still I will try my chance with him. I came back to reality by the snapping fingers of my brother.

'Where did you zone out, start telling your tales.' He snap his finger one more time.

' Okay okay, but please promise me, you wont get mad or judge me?' I plead him and gave him my puppy-dog eyes.

'You know, I cant judge you ever cupcake, You are my baby sister, will always  trust you, love you and support you in every single decision and choices of yours.' He gave my hand a quick squeezed to assure me. ' Please brother just promise me'. I repeated. 'Fine, I promise I wont get mad or judge you anything else?, Do I need to take an oath or something?' he tried to cheer me up. I guess he has an idea that I have done something terrible or stupid , I don't know  its my mind playing trick on my. I really need to get this out of my chest. So here we go.

15 min later

'Please brother say something, please I beg you', I was crying by now. Its been more than 5 mins and he hasn't said a word to me, Since I have told him everything. He started to shook his head and closed his eyes and release a heavy sigh, seems like he is try to digest the information and control his outburst and not get angry at me.

'What do you want me to say?' he muttered, his eyes still close. 'Please brother say something' I cried harder.

'Okay, first stop crying, you know I can't stand you tears no one of us can, now we need to figure out, How we are going to tell Anton about this'. His eyes still close, I guess he is  trying to find a solution. 

'WHATTTTT!!!!!!!, no no no no no no no' I started shaking my head vigorously. 'We are not doing this no no,I am not doing this, no we aren't telling him anything, no one has to tell him anything. Infact, no one need to know anything, what done is done. I made a mistake and learn my lesson. End of discussion an topic please Pasha.' I said still shaking my head and i am pretty sure I am having a panic attack. Pasha stood up and came to sit beside me and hugged me from side and started to rub my back and sooth me. 

'Shhhhhh, Its okay cupcake, Its alright no one is judging you or getting mad at you. But we need to tell them, what if they get to know from somewhere else? how will they feel then?. he said

'Huh, somewhere else? no one know anything expect for you and Val, no one will ever found out, please brother let it be, Please I beg you, We don't have to tell anyone please Brother' This time I cried harder.

'Shhhhhh Shhhhh, Come on cupcake stop crying now, We wont be telling anyone anything okay?, Now please stop crying, no one is ever going to find out okay?. he said. I nodded in response and wipe my tears from the back of my hand.

'One more thing , You sure he doesn't live here?' he ask concern lace in his voice. I nodded and ask 'why do you ask?'. 'Its just because if we decide not to tell others, I don't want them to find out from any other sources, they will be heartbroken, we love you very much cupcake, that's why I am concern.'

'I understand, and I know you guys love me, But I am 100% positive he doesn't live here, he was here for some work' I assure him. He nodded in response. 

After few more mins of small talk we left the shop and head to city hall. To meet others.
