"Conrad and Joanna Conversation"
Hey, we need to talk for a minute. Conrad said looking at her
Sure, what's going on? She asks looking at him as she sits down
"The rogues started attacking a week after you joined the pack. Last night we killed all of them except one. It was a woman that got away. I need you to be honest with me. Do these attacks have anything to do with you?" Conrad said
"I knew you would find out sooner or later. I was a rogue before I came here, but I ran away from Bernard Cooley. He kept trying to force me to mate with him. He would do that about every three months. He would pick an unmated female to lay with. If she doesn't get pregnant he would kill her. I could not lay with him. I don't know if those rogues are his. But I am being honest with you." Joanna said
