I knelt in the meeting hall, biding my time till Alpha Dimon made an appearance. After a great deal of effort, I had finally managed to calm my wolf and return to the Packhouse.
“Cedric,” the guard’s uncomfortable voice sounded behind me. “Alpha Dimon has gone to oversee the preparations for the attack. It will be a while before he returns. Why don’t you go out and wait for him?”
