JEN’S POV
I applied powder to my face and lipstick before I go out in public because I just woke up. Time check, it’s already 5 am, and in a few hours, I can finally go home and have a good rest.
“Jen, patient,” One of my co-interns called.
So, I put my mask on and go out from the pantry where there are a lot of patients are lining up.
Time for work!
“Sir Rodrigo, upo po kayo dito. Relax lang po, Sir ha.”
I am smiling behind the mask even they can’t see it but they can see it in my eyes.
“Tutusok na po ako, Sir ah. Hinga po ng malalim...”
And I inserted the needle to get a blood sample.
“Relax lang po, Sir.”
I extracted 5cc of blood from the patient.
“Okay na po, Sir.”
Afterward, I checked out at 8:30 am.
