MAX’S POV Something hitting my face roughly followed by a “Change into that,” woke me from my dreamless sleep. A heavy fur coat and a pair of heavy pants lay next to my head and a pair of boots by my bedside. Damon was towering over me, a clear look of impatience painted on his face. I was not one of those quick risers and it took me time to get my bearings through the sea of confusion. “Hurry up!” he said while pacing the room, which made me both alert and confused over why he was in so much haste.
