DAMON’S POV I looked at the ceiling of my room wondering what exactly I had done to deserve all the misfortune in my life. I could not put it past Ryker to reject me and to fully bond with Luke. Ever since I had known him, his full focus had been just helping in the fulfilment of the prophecy. He had failed twice and he was taking no chances this time round.
