Ever since Gerald proposed, it had been two days of me avoiding him having no definite answer to give him. Everyone kept giving me expectant looks and I felt cornered everywhere I went. It was like he made it publicly known so that I could not back out. I quickly shut the door behind me, narrowly escaping an elder as I did not want to risk another "when is the wedding?" question. I was feeling extra tired and decided to ask Dani and Kira to come help me prepare for the evening.
