MARY’S POV I had been running for quite sometime but the thought of someone following us and catching up with us fueled my adrenaline.Timothy had been pretty quiet, maybe having fallen asleep. The revelation that he had a sister had not been forgotten. We had pretty much covered so much ground and we were almost leaving the Crescent Moon pack in a few kilometres. It felt safer to cross over and let nighttime find us on the other side. We made our first stop for the day in an abandoned cave. Timothy’s ankle that had been swolen earlier on looked better.
