I spent the rest of the day roaming around the temple seeing how things were run. The temple did not get any visitors that day and I realised why Michael had brought me here,it was the perfect hiding place.Esther had told me earlier that she would be moving
my bedquarters to the chambers beneath the temple that day. Sarah and Betty had raised concerns but she had convinced them that, as a new recruit, I needed to be closer to the temple and she had assigned the morning duties to me and did not want me disrupting them. My biggest worry had been the probability of either of them slipping up to someone about my presence in the temple and leading to further investigations. Esther’s explanation about me being Michael's friend did not feel sufficient.
