 In the weeks leading up to the Homecoming dance, Lizzie and Elle could barely contain their excitement. Even the occasional snarky comments from Sabrina and Tasha didn’t faze them.   As the girls became more excited, the closer it got to the dance, the more nervous Lizzie’s parents became. Her father spent more hours in the garage where he had his workspace than he had in a while, getting the potions ready.  The night before the dance, Lizzie and her mother drank the first potion together.  Her mother and father watched her anxiously to see if she would have any reaction. After a few moments with nothing happening, Lizzie shrugged.  “I don’t feel any different,” she told them.   “We’ll keep a close eye on you tonight, just to be safe,” her mother said.   They sat in the living room,
