Lizzie woke with a start, her stomach roiling and her head aching. Drenched in sweat, she was shaking as though she had a fever. Throwing off the covers, she swung her legs over the side of the bed and sat up. She took a couple of deep breaths to calm herself and to keep from throwing up. When she finally felt better, she got out of bed and went over to her mirror, turning on the little lamp on her dresser. Staring at herself, she turned her head from side to side. She didn’t see anything out of the ordinary in her reflection.
