Calliope froze but immediately recovered her senses and ran away from Thanatos. She can't let him get her because if Thanatos did, Calliope doesn't know what he will do with her.
Another wolf emerges from the bushes, followed by another one until she couldn't count their numbers anymore. Calliope was surrounded. She gulped and turned around but was greeted by Thanatos's angry wolf.
"I told you, kitten," Thanatos said and growled. "You have nowhere to run," he added.
She was doomed.
"Shift!" Thanatos commanded. Calliope looked around, and all eyes were on her. She was afraid.
