That was the question that was daunting Jamie and he pretty much tried to avoid Derek asking him, but know he was just trapped.

“It's nothing serious I just wanted to meet my dad in London, you know he stays there after the split,” he says casually
The answer deflated dereks resolve, he wasn't sure what he was expecting to hear but, not this plain answer, he should at least fibbed, that about something,
“What did you think I was dying or something? “ Jamie joked with a smile that doesn't fully show his pearly white teeth, and the latter was not liking this at all.
