"Do you think we're wasting our time chasing June down?" my wolf, Odin, asked. "Damon might be getting closer to our mate." I let out a sigh. I understand that my wolf is worried, but I believe Damon can't take my mate. This mate bond with Stella is strong. I am sure Stella will move past her late husband's grieving and come to us. Hearing my thoughts, my wolf scoffed in disbelief.
"We must focus on making June pay for what she's done. She hurt our mate," I told my wolf.
