I remained in the safety of my pack's territory, sending Dexter and a group of soldiers to Kellan's penthouse in New York. Julie and Dexter were tasked with monitoring any movements at Kellan's other apartments in the city. If Stella was hidden in one of these locations, they would find her. Kellan owned many properties, and we had to inspect them all. "Your plan to stay back and do nothing is foolish," Kayden snapped.
