I aimed my power at Mia, who got hit and staggered back from the impact, falling to the ground and not moving. My legs wobbled, but I still pushed myself to walk. Kayden and Damon shifted back to their human forms. I had to keep my eyes on Mia. Fully aware of Damon and Kayden's naked frames, I couldn't help but take a quick glance at Damon. Shaking off my dirty thoughts, I focused back on the battle, blaming my raging hormones for my distraction.
“Don’t approach her. Let me check,” Damon said, grabbing my wrist and stopping me in my tracks. Kayden and Damon walked ahead, with Kayden kicking Mia to check if she was moving.
