Daemon held back Rayna’s body before it hit the ground. I rushed towards her right when the guard approached Millie’s mother and she was blindsided. I could smell the wolfsbane on her and it was obvious that she had rubbed it all over her body because when the guards went to touch her, they recoiled back from pain, giving her room to slip away and run as fast as she could back to the humans. I headed towards Rayna and placed a hand on her neck, trying to feel a pulse and thankfully, I could feel some of it. It was faint and barely there, but at least she was still alive even though she wouldn’t be for long if she was not treated right away.
