Fabiola sighed recalling that he could never be her knight in shining armor.
She slowly moved away from his arms.
“Are you okay now?”Lorenzo asked.
She nodded,slowly.”I’m fine.”
“Try and get more sleep.”He advised.”And don’t be scared anymore,Fabiola.I will never let anything happen to you.”
She stared at him,tentatively and asked.
“Why?”
“What do you mean why?”He probed,confused.
“Why won’t you let anything happen to me?”
“Because I promised you protection.”He drawled.”And it’s my duty to do that as long as we’re married.”
Fabiola nodded in comprehension and slowly laid down to sleep.
