“Lydia where the hell are you?” Logan asked through the earpiece and she took off her heels and ran on the stairs.
“I couldn't take the elevator so am taking the stairs.” She replied as she jumped the stairs as fast as she can.
She heard gun shots behind her and she screamed in fear, she suddenly saw some other men running towards her direction and she froze. She closed her eyes in fear waiting for the worst to happen as she felt a hand pull her.
“Come with me ma’am.” She heard a voice and she opened her eyes to see a guy pulling her towards the exit.
They finally got outside the hotel and saw Eddy and Logan.
“Lydia.” Logan called and rushed to her as she shook in fear.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt?” He asked and she shook her head.
“Well this is interesting.” Eddy said watching both of them and Logan turned to Eddy angrily.
“This is your fault, look at how scared she is.” Logan said and held his shirt.
“Am fine.” Lydia said coming in between them.
“See? She said she is fine.” Eddy said glaring at Logan.
“And besides she did the job perfectly, she killed Raymond and that means we are back in business.”
“What about... “
“Oh sweetheart, your money has been paid into your account, thank you so much.” Eddy said with a smile and hugged Lydia which made her chuckle.
Logan scoffed and ignored both of them and walked into his car.
“Jeez, your boss needs a chill pill.” Eddy joked and Lydia laughed.
They both walked to the car and entered and Logan drove away from the hotel immediately.
“You can take tomorrow off, I will drop you at home.” Logan said and Eddy giggled.
“Dude, can you stop that?”
“Sorry, it's just so weird when you are being nice, Likr it's really weird.”
“Well just keep shut, it's none of your business.”
“Sure.” Eddy replied and chuckled.
“Hmm, thanks for the day off sir but you don't have to drop me at home, I can find my way myself.”
“I insist.” Logan said and Eddy giggled again. Logan suddenly stopped the car and turned to Eddy.
“Get the hell out of my car Eddy.”
“Hey, come on. Am sorry, I won't say anything again.”
“Or make any sound.” Logan added and he nodded.
Logan continued driving and Lydia showed him the direction to her house. They got to her house and she got down, she smiled at them and Eddy smiled back.
“Thanks for today Lydia.”
“You are welcome and thank you too.”
“Sure thing...” Logan drove off before Eddy could reply and he laughed.
“Dude, you are so jealous.”
“Shut the f**k up Eddy, just shut up.”

Lydia walked into the house and sighed, she was so happy she got five million dollars in a night and at the same time was scared of what she was turning into.
She just killed someone and got piad five million dollars.
‘Am I becoming an assassin?’ She thought and shook he head. She decided to forget about what happen this night and just be happy she got five freaking million dollars in her account.
She giggled and fell on her bed happily, she couldn't wait for Henry's treatment to begin so he can finally walk freely again.
Suddenly her phone beeped and she looked at it, it was a text from a strange number. She sighed and tapped on it.
‘Good job, it seems you are gaining his trust gradually, keep doing dirty jobs for them and they will trust you completely! Do not forget your mission, three months is running out. KILL LOGAN GRIFFO!!!’ She read and suddenly her heart skipped beats, she never felt this way when she was first asked the job.
She decided to calm down and not forget she is actually there to really kill him. But can she still do it?
Will she be able to kill Logan Griffo?
She shook her head again and decided to shrug the thought off, all she needs now is a long bath and some sleep. She stripped off her clothes and head into the bathroom.
She filled the bathtub with cold water and she sank herself into it and closed her eyes, she remained in it for minutes before walking out of it and had a quick shower.
She wrapped the towel around her waist and walked out, she changed into a comfortable wear and sighed before falling on the bed. She keot thinking about her five million dollars before falling asleep.

THE NEXT MORNING
Lydia dressed in a jean and shirt, she wore a pair of sandals and carried her bag before walking out of the house. She was feeling too excited to eat as she head to the phone store to get Henry a phone.
She got to the store and bought the latest brand of phone, she made sure it was set up and was working perfectly before she paid through her credit card and walked out of the store.
She head to a fast food restaurant and bought Henry different kinds of snacks and smoothies, she bought him his favourite type of pie and walked out of the store. She got to the hospital and head straight to the doctor’s office.
She paid three million dollars into the hospital’s account for Henry's treatment and the doctor was shocked but decided to not ask questions.
Lydia walked to Henry's ward happily and smiled all the way. She got to the front of the ward and walked in, she met him and Claire having a conversation and she smiled widely.
“Lydia.” Henry called happily and she dropped the bags she was carrying and hugged him tightly.
“Awwwn, my baby boy.” She said and ruffled his hair which made him frown. Claire laughed and Lydia turned to her with a smile.”
“Hey Claire.”
“Hi Lydia.”
“Thanks for keeping Henry company, am really grateful.”
“My pleasure Lydia and besides, he is fun to be with.”
“Yeah, yeah. I know am awesome.” Henry boasted and Claire rolled her eyes before jumping off the bed.
“I will leave you guys now, bye.”
“Wait, have this.” Lydia said and gave her out if the cakes she bought.
“Awwwn, thank you so much. I really love cake a lot.” Claire said happily and hugged Lydia, she walked out of the ward and Lydia sat on the bed.
“First of all, am sorry for not showing up yesterday, I hope am forgiven?” Lydia asked with a smile.
“Yeah, sure and you seem happy, what's up?”
“I have a present for you.”
“What present?”
“Just guess.”
“You know am terrible at it, just tell me what it is.” Henry said with a smile and she giggled.
“Okay then.” She giggled again and brought out the brand new phone and gave it to him. Henry frose as he stared at the phone. It's the latest phone and Lydia bought it, where the hell did she get the money from?
“You don't like it?” Lydia asked seeing the look on his face.
“Lydia, this phone is the new and it's the latest brand.”
“Yes, I know. Don't you like it?”
“I do but this phone will be so expensive, you could have just paid for my bills instead on getting me this.” He said and tears clouded his eyes. Lydia sighed and hugged him.
“Its fine Henry and I paid for your bills already, this is just a gift from me to you.”
“Where did you get the money from?” He asked as she pulled away from the hug.
“I thought we agreed on you not worrying about that again.” Lydia said and he sniffed.
“Am sorry.” He apologized and Lydia felt bad. She couldn't tell him the truth that she killed someone. Henry will never talk to her again.
“Its okay, I got paid early and I got a day off today so I decided to get you all this and pay your bills.”
“And in some weeks you should be able to walk properly cause I already paid the bills, all that is left now is the surgery bills and am sure am going to get it before the completion of three months.”
“Thank you so much.” Henry said in tears and she hugged him.
“Awwwn, don't cry.”
“I love you so much Lydia.”
“Awwwn, I love you too Henry.” She replied and smiled happily.
