"You don't get it right? I have to leave now." "Why?" "It's personal, we both have nothing to do so let me go." "I'm not holding you down but you can't leave yet." "Okay, till when?" "11 pm." "What?" Lydia yelled. "Don't yell." "I have somewhere I need to be and it's really important." "I said we are living 11 pm." "But we are not doing anything." "11 pm." She said sternly and she sighed before sitting. ******** It was finally 11 and Lydia sighed in relief, they both stood up and walked out of the office. "You should get here early tomorrow, if you are late you are going to be punished." Lydia just sighed as her thoughts were clouded with what lie to tell Henry. "Do you know how to lie?" She suddenly asked him as they walked out of the company and head towards the car. "Lie?" Logan asked. "Yes, never mind anyway." She said and walked away, she took a taxi and bought some junk food with the little money left with her. She got to the hospital and walked in, she walked into his ward and sighed in relief when he was fast asleep. "Am not sleeping." He said with his eyes closed and she suddenly flinched. "Jeez, you scared the s**t out of me." She said and dropped the bags containing the junk foods. "You are late again." "Yes, I know and I can explain." She said and sat on his bed. "Am not interested." He replied and Lydia's eyes widen in shock." "Why? You mean you are not interested?" "I am not." "But it's because of my job, am sorry if.... " "Like I said Lydia, not interested." He cut her off and she sighed. "Am sorry though." "Will you eat?" "Sure, am not mad at you." "But what's with the 'you are not interested' word? Sounds like you are mad at me." "No am not, have decidedto stop questioning you and giving you a hard time, all I have to do is get better." "Awwwn, thanks bro." She said and ruffled his hair. "Hey, don't touch my hair, it's my thing." He snapped with a frown and Lydia laughed. "Okay then, I won't touch your hair." She said sarcastically and touched his hair again which made him chuckle. "I can't wait to get out of here." Henry suddenly said. "Yeah, me too. I just want you to be fine." "Sure." The news suddenly came on and Lydia turned to the television. "Hey, you turned on the television today." "Yeah." Henry replied and they both looked at the screen. It was a news about Logan and Lydia rolled her eyes while Logan smiled. "I love Logan so much and I want to be just like him." "No!" Lydia yelled and he looked at her confused. "What's with the no?" "I mean... what I mean is that you should always wish to be a better person, the best person not wish to be others." She explained and he nodded. "Well I wish to be like Logan Griffo." He said and Lydia groaned. "What?" "Henry, don't always judge a book by its cover." "Whatever, you seem like you know him." He said and Lydia faked a laugh. "Well, let's forget about that, I want to tell you something." Henry said with a smile and turned to his sister. "What? You seem excited." "Yes, so you know this section is just for patients with brain tumor?" "Yes, I know." "Well, there is this girl next to my ward, her name is Claire and she is pretty." "This is getting interesting." "You know am handsome and all and I'm ninety percent sure she has a crush on me." He boasted and smiled. "Okay, first of all you are too full of yourself and second, how did you guys meet?" "Today, when... " "Wait, hold on. It's just today and you are sure she likes you and you know her name already?" "Jeez Lydia, you know am good at things like this." "Okay, explain how you guys met." "Earlier today, I felt like taking a walk since am not that paralyzed, the nurse helped me walk around the hospital and that was when I saw her, damn she is so pretty." "Then how did you know her name?" Lydia asked and he scratched the back of his neck. "The nurse called her name." He said and Lydia burst into laughter. "I thought you were really good in stuffs like this right?" "It's not funny, as I was saying, the nurse called her name and asked her why she isn't in her ward and she said she was taking a walk." "By herself?" "Yeah, she still seem very strong though, it seems she is not completely sick with the tumor." "Okay, go on." "Here comes the best part, the nurse got an emergency call and couldn't take me back so she asked her to help me to my ward that its beside hers." "Wow, so you talked to her." "No, I was quiet the whole way." He sighed and Lydia laughed out loud, she held her stomach and laughed at him. "I knew you were going to chicken out, I knew it." "Well, I said thanks though and I asked her if she could keep me company tomorrow since we both stay alone." "And she said yes?" "She said no." Lydia laughed again and he sighed as he glared at her. "It's not funny." "Okay, I'm sorry. I will stop." "Thank you." He scoffed and Hazel giggled. "I thought you said that you are ninety percent sure she has a crush on you?" Lydia said trying to hold back her laughter. "I wasn't sure but she was playing hard to get that was why I said so, every girl does that to a guy they like." "Jeez Henry, you are seventeen so act like one, what kind of a girl will say yes to anything you say when you first meet her. "Normal ones, that girl is crazy." Lydia stared at his reaction and burst into laughter again.
