"It's nothing actually, I fell on my way here." "You really need to be careful, why are you dressed like this?" "Hmm, I just felt like cause I love it." She said and Henry chuckled. "I know you are lying but I will let it go cause you don't want to talk about it." "Thanks." She replied and smiled. "So Henry, starting from tomorrow I might not be coming to see you everyday." "What? Why?" "I will be busy and I will try to make time to come see you." "Are you abandoning me?" "What? No." "It's fine, I was just teasing you, I know you can't abandon me." Henry said and laughed, she sighed in relief and ruffled his hair. "You should sleep after eating, it's necessary." "Sure. THE NEXT DAY "So I have to go now." "Yes, I know." "Wait, why did you not tell any of your high school friends? Aren't they worried?" Lydia asked and he sighed. "It doesn't matter if they know or not, none of them cares." "But Stella does." "I broke up with her when I found out I had a brain tumor, I can't watch her being hurt." "It's fine, I have to go now, bye." She said and hugged him, he hugged her back and she smiled. She walked out of the ward and hospital, she took a taxi home and took her bath. She got dressed in a jean and sandal before walking to the box. She went through it and sighed, she saw that he was going to be at his company today. She sighed and wonder how she will get in, no one will let her in after what she did yesterday. She walked to her closet and changed her cloth to a skirt and a shirt, she wore a sandal and walked to the mirror. She packed her hair in a bun and left few strands on her face, she picked up her glasses when she was still in high school and wore it. She smiled and applied a nude lipstick, she looked satisfied with her appearance and carried a bag. She picked up the paper she needed and walked out. She took a taxi to the company and got down when she got there, she took in a deep breath and hoped they won't recognise her as she entered the company. She walked to the receptionist and smiled. "Good morning." She said with a different accent and the receptionist smiled. "Morning ma'am, how can I help you?" "Please I am here to see Mr Logan Griffo, is he in?" "Yes, do you have an appointment with him?" "Hmm, yeah." "Okay, go with her." The receptionist said and pointed towards a lady standing by the elevator, the lady smiled and Lydia walked towards her. She got to the lady and smiled. "Good morning." She greeted. "Morning." The lady replied and they entered the elevator. Lydia sighed in relief cause they didn't recognize her, the elevator finally stopped and they walked out. She walked into the office with the lady and Mr. Logan looked up. "Sir, this lady is here to see you and she said she had an appointment with you sir." The lady said and Logan nodded even though he knew he had no appointmet with anybody. "You can leave." He said she the lady bowed before walking away. Immediately the lady left, Lydia sighed in relief and sat on the chair, Logan looked at her surprised wondering the guts she has. "Damn, your employees are really dumb." Lydia laughed and loosen her hair, she took off her glasses and cleaned the lipstick. "Do I look familiar?" She asked with a smile and Logan tried to hide his surprised face. "Good job, I have to fire half of my employees." Logan muttered. "Yeah, absolutely." Lydia replied and placed her legs on his table. "You really have some guts, first you embarrassed me, then you asked for a dollar then you started stalking me and now you are here again." "Don't forget I bit you and I broke your car." She said and giggled. "It was kind of fun though." "You know I can kill you right now." "Wow am scared." Lydia giggled and looked around his office. "I love this place, can you give me a job here? I can be the CEO." She teased and laughed. "Get it? I will take over your job." She laughed and Logan sighed. "What do you want?" "Now you are talking." She said and stood up, she walked to him and sighed. "I need a job here as your personal assistant." "Why?" "Cause I need money." Logan stared at her as she smiled, he wondered what kind of a girl she is and decided to study here. He suddenly gained interest in her and wanted to know her more. "If that is what you really want, sit down and let us have a proper interview." "Oh." She giggled and sat down with a smile. "What's your name?" "Lydia Anderson." "How old are you?" "Am twenty two." "Twenty two?" Logan asked surprised, he was expecting her to be younger cause she kind of looks like a teenager. "Yes." "You went to college?" "Of course I went to college. Who won't go to college?" "I didn't." Logan said and her eyes widen. Logan had no idea why he told her he didn't go to college, no one knew he never went to college. "You didn't go to college? Why?" "Am the interviewer and you and the one answering the questions so you have no right to question me." "Okay." "When did you graduate college?" "Three years ago." "When you were nineteen?" "Yeah." Logan wanted to ask what year she finished high school that made her graduate college early but he let it go since it wasn't important. "Any experiences?" "Yeah, have worked in a lot of places like hotels, restaurants, companies, and many more." "Okay then, you are hired and you are starting immediately." "Okay." Lydia giggled in response.
