He was staying with her until he figured it all out. Until then, she would keep herself occupied. She would continue with her training.
She would continue to focus on her dreams. She would continue to make him happy. And hopefully, she would be able to forget about him entirely.
The following morning, she awoke earlier than usual. She rolled over lazily and glanced over at him sleepily. She could see him lying motionlessly on his back beside her.
Their bodies lay intertwined together beneath the covers. A warm smile formed itself across her face when she took in his peaceful appearance.
He looked relaxed, unguarded. And his face seemed almost devoid of any emotion. She was glad that he had fallen asleep peacefully.
