11. The Capital

The first thought that came to my mind when we left for the capital is "Would he be able to find me?" I don't know if he knows that I'm going or if he would search for me, but he is a god even if I don't know what that really means. There aren’t gods or a god on earth, not that I know of that are like the gods here. Alive and more real. The carriage looks different, we both know that it's a carriage, but it's unlike the ones I see in medieval paintings. It seems like it's made out of flexible wood at its roof is curved, so naturally, it feels like it was quickly placed and just nailed on each side. A door carved out of it and 4 small windows for ventilation. There are ordinary-looking wagons with single horses where the handmaidens are apparently going to stay. I carry Bie in my arms. H
