Rahul's POV: Me and Priya reached the hospital . Vikram too arrived . We rushed towards the ICU without wasting any time. Niyati with a sad look on her face told us about the accident and how she took Khushi here. I thanked her while Vikram and Priya were lost . He is trying his best not to cry out . Pain is clearly visible in his eyes . Priya couldn't control her tears . She has been crying all the way here . I was praying that nothing bad will happen. Khushi is the base of all our families and a livewire. I can't even imagine what it will be if she's not there in our life. What am i even thinking? She will be fine. After much anticipation and hours of absolute mental t*****e waiting outside the ICU, we saw the doctors coming out. " Patient's relative?" She called out. We all went near her. Vikram rushed towards her and hastily asked " i am her husband. Is she fine? Can i see her? " " I am sorry. I don't know how to say this? We tried our level best. But The patient , she " the doctor stopped for while " She's what, doctor? Tell me my Khushi is fine " Priya and Vikram yelled simultaneously . The doctor is taken aback. Niyati came and held Priya back while i pulled Vikram with all my might. " I am sorry sir. But she's nomore. She was severely injured and her face was destroyed completely. We tried to revive her. But no, she didn't respond to our treatment. She's dead. " With that being said , the doctor left the place without looking at us. Priya fainted the moment she heard it. Though i myself was grieving, i have to be strong . Vikram is lost and dejected. How can you khushi? You can't leave us like this. With that i started crying. Vikram's POV: What? No way , my Khushi will not leave me. She promised me she will be with me forever . How can she leave me? It's all my fault. Where did you go, Khushi? What will i tell to our kids? What will happen to them? Khushi, love of my life. Not believing what the doctor has said, i rushed inside the ICU to see Khushi. Her face was fuly covered and there lay a motionless body of my sweetheart. The ring and the mangalsutra ,  the dress everything the police showed us matches Khushi. Even blood group. I can't bear it. I can't and don't want to live anymore. With that thought, I climbed the stairs and soon find myself standing on the wall of the the top floor. I closed my eyes and prepared to jump. The images of our kids Vishal, Virat and Arohi flashed in my minds. Without Khushi and me , they'll suffer. How could you leave us, Khushi? What am i going to tell them? Arohi is just a year old. Oh god! What am I going to do without you? This is not fair  . Why do you leave so early? What the hell? I can't even die. My conscience is preventing me. Rani's POV: It all happened in a flash . Even after six months, We still haven't got over the sudden death of our lovely Khushi. When we can't fathom it, i cant even explain what Vikram and Priya were going through.  The house has lost its charm and brightness . Kids too find it difficult to go through. There is hardly any smile on their faces. Khushi had taken all the Khushi(happiness) of ours along with her. Third person POV: Vikram went into his bedroom. That was the biggest room in the house. The extra space available in this room allowed him to incorporate additional furniture - a vanity, an ottoman, a couch, a small sitting area with armchairs, a loveseat, big closets. This room was meant to create a quiet and private space. It was a sanctuary for the two of them. The interior decor was selected by his wife Khushi , to offer an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. Today, he sat on the king sized bed and looked around the sanctuary but nothing soothed him. This sanctuary used to help them both recharge in after a long day, away from the outside world. He walked out distressed, to the living room. This one was artfully adorned with a selected few new rare pieces.  he remembered how just few days back while buying those pieces, she said, "Wow Vikram!! These look splendid in their monochrome colourway." He bought them in no time, seeing his wife so happy. He thought, "may be she'll look at them and feel good when I am gone". White and purple is a fabulous choice which is why they had chosen it for their living room. The crisp, cosy, cool purple walls made him feel melancholic today. Every corner of the house reminded him of Khushi. Where could she go? The white tones on the dining table against a deep anthracite wall was only making him feel how empty his life is without her. A teardrop rolled down his cheek escaping the rim of his eyes. How heavy his heart felt. This time it was so different. he walked to the group of windows which were side by side. She really loved these wide windows because it kept the room bright and it did showcase a gorgeous view with the green trees. He had bought a motorised shade with a remote control for it. With just the press of one button, the shades went up. The green trees today made him feel even more lonely. How much he longed for a happy family now. The silence in the house was getting noisy. Meanwhile in Rahul's house, Priya literally shut off from the outside world. She no longer cares about the happenings of the world. Sometimes someone has to jerk her back to reality. Endless days and sleepless nights. Rahul used to put sleeping pills in her milk unknown to her to make her sleep. Priya just touched the photos of her and Khushi . The happy moments, sad , worst, everything.  Her mind and soul felt anguished. She sat on the recliner, that rocked her to sleep for a moment. She woke up with a start dreaming about Khushi. Just then, Khushi's sleeping one and half year old baby started crying. The cries made her shatter even more. She recalled how Khushi assured her,"Once my baby arrives, you will be busy and not lonely when am gone." But nothing was true. She felt the emotional pain of being a orphan. Yes that's what she is now. Her only blood relation was her sister. She surely was busy, to the extent that she was sleep-deprived, but the loneliness was now growing. She wiped her tears and her baby's tears too. Swaddling Arohi in her arms she walked about. It was close to impossible to provide comfort to her baby because she needed someone to lean on too. But she had to do it.  The shining diamond necklace clung on to her neck securely. Their love was meant to shine.  She missed her. But she believes that Khushi isn't dead . How she wished her Khushi was like this necklace, close to her forever, shining around her.  How she wished, Khushi was not dead. How she wishes to go back the years and correct the mistakes she did. But nothing can change. Life has to go on. Arohi was with Priya as Vikram is not in a right state of mind and she is too young. Arohi's strong resemblance to Khushi isn't helping either. Vikram for the first time didn't argue when everyone suggested Arohi to be with Priya as Priya was inconsolable and motionless for more than a week. Thanks to Arohi, Priya is getting back to normalcy. For her , Khushi is not dead . She's somewhere and one day she will come back to her. **
