Webb I stand up and make my way to the bathroom using the extra toothbrush Delaney gave me. Debating if I should chance it and sleep next to her I pause outside of her door. I decide to make sure she’s still sleeping peacefully at the very least. I hear whimpers as soon as I open the door. Crossing the room quickly I see her clutching the pillow as small whimpers leave her mouth. “Sofie.” I whisper but she doesn’t wake. I reach over and run my hand softly through her hair. She settles as I continue it. Once she’s peaceful again I pull back deciding it would be best if I slept on the couch. Two steps away she cries out a bit and begins to whimper again. I turn back and know that I need to stay. I shed my shirt and jeans hoping she doesn’t freak out about this although it’s as much coverage
