I finish lacing my shoes for practice when Colby says “so where are you taking Sofie on your first date?” He grins and I glare at him. What the hell in the middle of the locker room dude?!
“Really?!”
He jerks his head to the left and I see Baylor standing there. I shake my head at Colby. I don’t need to broadcast it. She’s not interested in him and told me yes. My ego doesn’t need anything other than her acceptance.
“Let’s go practice.” I tell him as I walk out.
I’m walking out with the guys and throw my bag in my truck.
I hear someone call my name as I start to climb in. I see Baylor jogging my way.
“Webb a word if you have time?”
“I do.” I look over and see Clint watching. “Go ahead and check on the girls.”
I turn back to Baylor and wait.
