Kelsi steadily trained the pistol at the closest red cup, which was perched on top of a boulder, four feet from the ground and roughly five yards away from where she was standing. She squinted her eyes and aimed down at the sights, trying her best to line it up in the middle of the cup. She inhaled deeply and held her breath. She pulled the trigger. BANG! The noise from the gun firing off was greatly deafened by the ear muffs; however, she did not expect the recoil that followed. As soon as the gun was fired, it had immediately kicked back and her weak grip did nothing to keep the gun from jerking upward, yanking her arms with it, obscuring the view in front.
