The Vampire's Second Chance Part 6

I walked cautiously down the path in the woods. Normally, when I have this dream, I don’t know it’s a dream. It’s like I’m living that night over and over again. This time, things were different. Instead of it being dark, on account of the slivered moon, the moon was full and huge. It lit the path and threw shadows between the trees and bushes that ran along the sides. I heard crickets chirping and frogs croaking. I was certain it had been eerily quiet that night. As I followed the path, it crested a hill. Below, I could see a cheerful cabin in the moonlight. It had a wraparound porch with a swing on it. There was a flickering light in the window. Curious, I went to investigate. I prayed the dream hadn’t morphed into some f****d up little red riding hood thing. That would be so messed up. I was just getting used to the same dream every night. Though the cabin looked aged, it didn’t creak when I stepped up onto the porch. I went to the door and wondered if I should knock. On one hand, it was a dream, on the other, it was impolite not to knock. I decided to be impolite. I didn’t want some wolf to bust the door down if I knocked. I opened the door and crept in. There were candles on shelves and tables. A man stood with his back to me. His shoulders were broad and tapered into a narrow waist. I smiled. I knew that ass. Crossing the room, I wrapped my arms around Dennis’ waist. He chuckled and put his hands over mine. This was the kind of dream I could definitely get used to. “You found me.” “I didn’t even realize I was supposed to be looking for you, but I’m glad I did.” I sighed. Dennis pulled my arms off him and turned around. God, he was handsome. I stepped closer and he pulled me into his arms before dipping me backward and kissing me deeply. It was like the kisses I’d seen in old movies. Romantic and dramatic. When he was finished kissing me, Dennis smiled and drew me back to standing. My legs wobbled. I’d never had a kiss that made my legs wobble before. It was amazing. “What are you doing here?” I asked. “I told you to dream of me tonight. Why wouldn’t I be here when I ordered you to do such a thing?” “You said it was too early for s*x because of the ‘abnormalities’ of being with a vampire, then you use your hypnosis or whatever to make me dream of you.” I laughed. “Sending some mixed signals there.” “I didn’t want you to dream of the attack again. I wanted you to have a restful night’s sleep before your birthday celebration. I wanted to see my Billie as happy as possible.” “Your Billie?” “You’re my girlfriend. You belong to me. Or, is that not what it means? I hadn’t thought I was that out of touch with the language of today.” He pondered. “No. You’re right. I’m your girlfriend and that means I’m yours. Just like you’re my Dennis. And no one else can have you.” Dennis bent his head down and kissed me lightly on the lips. “No one ever shall. I am only for you.” “What are we going to do now?” I asked. He took my arm and turned me toward the corner of the room. I gasped a little. There was a large bed with a thick mattress on it. Dennis embraced me from behind and started nibbling my ear as his hands roamed my body. I felt the firm press of him behind me. A slight whimper escaped me. “I know this is only a dream world, Billie, but I can be human here. I won’t feel the urge to drink your blood as I make love to you. I may bite, though.” His hot breath on my ear made me shudder with desire. “I like a little biting.” I whispered. “Good.” With little effort, Dennis scooped me into his arms and started crossing the room. Maybe he didn’t realize it would be hard for a human man to do that with such ease, but it was a dream, so who was I to argue. I certainly wasn’t going to risk losing a chance to be with him. Dennis settled me on the bed and ripped open the little button up top I was wearing. I slipped it off my shoulders and dropped it onto the floor next to the bed. His eyes ate up every inch of my skin. “You’re not wearing a bra.” “I was younger. Things were firmer.” I reached out and grabbed his shirt. It was the same one he was wearing earlier. I always wanted to tear open a man’s shirt, but I was a little afraid they’d be upset about me ruining their clothes. I didn’t have to worry about that here and tore the two sides apart. He was ripped. Dear lord. I had no idea what he’d been hiding under those clothes. The muscles of his chest and abs were exquisitely sculpted. I ran my fingers over them. “Is this a dream body or do I have this to look forward to in the future?” I breathed. “I was a warrior. I trained and worked my body to keep it in its top fighting form. When I passed on to my next life, it no longer needed to be worked as hard to maintain. Do I please you, darling?” “You’re getting there.” I quipped and he laughed. His hands caressed my breasts and I felt them slide down before I was yanked onto my back. Dennis was pulling at the little spandex shorts I was wearing until he had them off. He looked over my body with a hungry look and licked his lips. “You’re beautiful, Sybil.” “Of course, I’m twenty-nine.” I snorted. Dennis sighed. “No. You’re always beautiful. But you make a good point. It wasn’t twenty-nine-year-old Billie who I desire. She’s not the one I dream of making love to.” With a wave of his hand, I saw my body change. So much for enjoying the hotness. A little pudginess started softening the tight tummy I used to have. It was harder to work out after the attack, I never got that body back. My thighs thickened and my scars appeared on my skin. In a slight panic, I tried to cover the scars. Dennis grabbed my hands and pinned them to the bed. He leaned in and started kissing over the scars. “This is my beautiful Billie.” He breathed as he kissed every inch of the shiny scar tissue. He started kissing down over my stomach. I felt a little nervous. He was gorgeous and I was soft and squishy. I felt him going lower and bit my lips together. Maybe he wouldn’t. I really wasn’t a fan of receiving oral s*x. His hands released mine and I felt them on my thighs, pulling them apart.   “Please, don’t.” I said. “Don’t?” “I don’t like… that. I’ll do it to you, but I don’t like it done to me.” I blushed. “I’ll respect your wishes, but I would be loath not to suggest that your dislike was caused by unskilled partners. Perhaps when you trust me more you’ll permit me to taste you. I will never force you to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.” Dennis replied. “Thank you.” He smiled and nodded before he began unbuckling his belt and dropped his pants. Dennis climbed up onto the bed as I scooted backward. He came up between my legs and lowered his head, kissing his way back up my body. Dennis stopped to kiss, suck and nibble my breasts. I closed my eyes and laid back, enjoying the feeling of his mouth on my skin. His fingers traced over my scars as he tasted every inch of my chest. I knew he was trying to make me feel comfortable and show that he wasn’t put off by them. It worked. I felt like they barely mattered. He knew about them, saw them, touched them, and he wasn’t disgusted. It was more than I could have hoped. His lips started going up to my collarbone and neck. When he finally made it up to my lips, I was a quivering mess. I reached down and grasped his erection. With a hiss, he closed his eyes. I stroked him with one hand while I moved the other over his chest, twining it in the silver curls there. He looked like a real man. Muscles, moustache, chest hair, everything manly and masculine. Dennis’ arms wrapped around me and he sat back on his heels with me pressed against him. My hand still gripped him as he positioned me to straddle his lap. I stroked him a few more times. “I need to feel you. This last week has been torture. Every afternoon, I wake up and listen to your sweet voice on the phone as I pleasure myself. When I see you at night, I struggle to hide the excitement of my body. In the morning, I replay your every movement. The way you delicately tuck your hair back when you work. The way you rub the end of the pen against your bottom lip as you count inventory. The curve of your sweet bottom as you bend over to look at lower shelves. Goddess, you have no idea how many times I wanted to take you right then and there.” Dennis groaned. I didn’t have anything I could say to that. I slipped him into me and gasped at the feeling of him stretching me. It had been so long since I’d been with a real man and not my toys. He moved me up and down against him. I sighed as he started kissing and sucking on my neck. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and held onto him. “Wrap your legs around me, darling.” He murmured against my skin. I locked my ankles behind him and held on tight. Dennis shifted his body and stood on the bed. He took a couple steps to the headboard and pressed me against the wall. My butt rested on the small ledge at the top of the headboard. After making sure he had me held tightly still, Dennis started moving. I moaned as he seemed to hit every perfect spot inside of me. I felt my body starting to squeeze his as I got closer. As I was reaching the edge of my orgasm, Dennis bit down on my shoulder. I was too close to my climax and the pain of his bite mixed with the pleasure washing over me. It was amazing. Like it was perfectly timed. He captured my mouth when I stopped crying out. I melted against him. He held me tight again and turned, carefully laying me out on the mattress. Dennis pulled back and looked down at me. His eyes were glowing. I didn’t have it in me to tell him that human eyes didn’t glow. Maybe he couldn’t help it. “You’re everything I imagined you to be, Billie. I plan to make this the best dream you’ve ever had. I’m going to make love to you over and over again all night long. Every time you orgasm, I’ll kiss you as deep and hard as I can. When I see you tomorrow night, I’m going to kiss you in the exact same way. Your body will flood with endorphins and you will become eager for the pleasure I can inflict upon you, because every cell in your body will remember being ravished repeatedly without end.” “What?” I whispered. “It’s a dream, Billie. A dream I control. I don’t need to finish, but you will. Over and over again. I’ll make you scream my name until you remember no other.” “That almost sounds like a nightmare.” “No. It could never be a nightmare. Not with us. I’ll make you feel things you’ve never felt before. I’ll replace every terrible memory with memories of this night. Every terrible dream will be rewritten with pure ecstasy.” He said and started kissing all over my face gently. “You say things like that, then you treat me like I’m fragile. I think the confusion is making this all so much more unbelievable.” I giggled. “I should be less delicate with you if I’m also planning to torture you with pleasure. Ah, but I can’t bring myself to treat you roughly right now. Perhaps tomorrow, when you dream of me again.” “Tomorrow?” “Every day you will dream of me, sweet Sybil. I’ll never let you have that nightmare again. Your rest will be filled with rapturous delight. When you wake, you will call me and tell me all your favorite parts about your dreams. I’ll take you to any restaurant or club you want on your days off and I will visit you every night you work. One night, you will agree to come work for me and we’ll spend even more time together.” He purred as he bent down and nibbled my ear. “S-sounds like you have the rest of my life planned.” He started moving in me again. His teeth tugged at my earlobe. I moaned and gripped the muscular bulges of his back. “I’m going to keep you for as long as I can, Billie. No matter how many or how few years we have. I’ll be by your side, for as long as I can, I promise. For the rest of your life. One day, maybe you’ll agree to make it for the rest of our life.” I moved my hands to his chest and pushed him away. He stopped moving and looked at me with a confused expression. “Are you saying that you might turn me into a vampire?” I asked. “Only if you wanted to.” Dennis replied quickly. “You don’t have to. I can love you as a human or a vampire. I can take care of you no matter what you decide.” Did I want to become a vampire? What would that do to my life? What life? I worked, went out to be around strangers, cleaned my apartment, and slept. Did that mean I was ready to give up daylight to become some night dwelling creature? “Maybe we can talk about it later. Right now, you were going to make me forget I ever had nightmares.” I smiled. He grinned and I could see the relief in his eyes. It was way too early for us to be talking about that. It would definitely be on my mind, though. Luckily, Dennis made good on his promise and all I was able to focus on for the next few hours was the repeated waves of pleasure which took me to new heights. We were so close to another powerful orgasm when my alarm went off on my phone and woke me. Somehow I’d slept until five in the afternoon. That was probably the longest I’d slept in years. I stretched and felt a large wet spot on my bed. I groaned and stripped the bed, tossing my pajamas and sheets in the hamper. I stepped into the shower and got cleaned up. I brushed my teeth and hair before going out of the bathroom. I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and went to sit on the couch. He said he made that dream, but, didn’t vampires die when they slept. He couldn’t have possibly been there. He probably planted the seeds when he hypnotized me. That made sense. Did he know his dream-self told me to call him when I woke? Was he waiting by the phone for me to call and tell him I dreamed of him? I hit his contact and the talk button. The phone barely rang before he picked up. I nearly started laughing. He was so eager to talk to me. “I missed you, Billie. You were supposed to call me as soon as you woke up.” He chided. “My bed was soaked when I woke up and I needed to take a shower. Thank you very much.” I snipped. “Oh, you are very welcome.” Dennis purred. I laughed. He misunderstood on purpose and I knew it. “Thank you, for real, though, Dennis. It was really nice to have a night without that nightmare.” I said softly. “I would do anything for you, Billie. Now, tell me what your favorite part of your dream was.” “It was definitely when I opened the door to the cabin and found you waiting for me.” He chuckled. “Of all the things we did together, that was your favorite part?” “I loved every moment of it, Dennis. But that was the very best part. Were you really there the whole time?” I asked. “Yes. My ability gives me the chance to actually dream while I rest for the day. That was truly me and not some phantasm of the dream realm.” “I can’t wait to see you again.” “Nor can I. You need to start getting ready. As much as I want to keep listening to your sweet voice, I don’t want you to be late. I’ll see you after dark, darling.” Dennis murmured. “See you after dark.” I replied and hung up. I grinned and got up to start getting ready. This was going to be the best night ever. Well, if I didn’t count the night in the dream.
