“Your majesty- we have interrogated the baron, but we have no information regarding the missing children. From how the baron acted, it seems he has no idea what is happening.” I stare at dame Mary while drinking my wine.
“This is not the answers I’m looking for, Mary. I want to know the whereabouts of the children and the reason why the kids are taken from the comfort of their own homes. Have you interrogated the witches that were capture around the vicinity of this village? What did they say?” The dame keeps her head low.
“We did, and none of them had any reason to kidnapping children. We have also investigated their abode. There is no sign of rituals can be trace.” Is that so? Does that mean we can leave the witches out from the list of suspects? I don’t think so.
