“You’re planning to take my daughter as your wife?” Silas was taken aback when Judith, Anna’s mother, asked him when Anna went to the kitchen.
“Yes, ma’am.” Silas didn’t even wave when he faces Judith. Judith smiled at Silas before giving him a sign that she gave him her permission to take her daughter as his wife.
“I heard a lot of you from our neighbours. They said you didn’t have up after Anna rejected you a couple of times. But I do wonder, why did Anna agree to take you as her husband?” Silas shrugged his shoulder.
