“I think we may have bitten more than we can chew” a female beta said to Kane, she was higher in rank and was facing off the one who seemed to be actually calling the shots, if she didn’t know better she could have sworn he was the actual alpha (Maybe she didn’t know better).
Kane was already beyond furious at the turnout of things, he had not expected the situation to be this prolonged, every now and then the situation kept spiraling out of his control as the Astarothians kept pulling well planned surprises seemingly out of nowhere.
The whole thing had gone wrong for them so fast;
