We were done with the fitting at exactly four in the afternoon, which gave us only a few hours before the party starts, which would be at seven-thirty in the evening. I didn't need much time to prepare, since I know a few things about doing make-up, so I can do it on my own. Although it won't be as glamorous but it will do for me, I didn't want heavy make-up on me either.
Dale drove me home to prepare and it was only a few minutes before we reached my apartment. I thanked him for what he did back there as I got out of his car. He didn't go out as I told him to since we're running out of time and I didn't want to hold him any longer.
