I was absolutely blown away by this night so far. Everything was happening so fast and I felt like this had to be a dream, a wonderful amazing dream.
The way Damion looked at me made my body burn with desire. His touch, his scent, everything about him is exactly what I wished for, and he says he wants me too. Hearing those words leave his mouth earlier almost made me squeal and kick my feet with delight. I noticed as the dinner progressed, he seemed to get more tense by the second. I glanced over at my devastatingly handsome mate as he quickly averted his gaze and chugged the rest of his wine.
Lance, Lucas, and Jake left us, taking the band with them as Damion and I were finally alone. We ate in silence and I noticed he wanted to speak, but stopped himself several times.
