I stared out of the window at the city. It's dark now, and the city is completely lit up. I just can't get my mind off of everything.
It's no wonder why the guys didn't want to talk about that three years. They must have known that Baz's family was involved. That's what they meant when they kept saying they thought they were doing what was right. That they were just protecting me.
I still wish they would have told me. I could have helped sooner than this. It's like they don't understand how powerful I've grown over these last few years.
How did they manage to escape anyway? Paying Beata off, what does that even mean? Do they even know that Piotr is still looking for them? Did they really think that things would die down when they left?
