Present day... "Kuhu! The end of two years of togetherness has not stopped me from seeing a lifetime future with you where we would build our world. It has rather promised me to turn this dream into a reality. I know the completion of this tender project between Rathore Constructions and Malhotra Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. will end the collaboration between our companies. I want to start afresh a relation with you but not of business, not of friendship, nothing but that of love and promised togetherness. Its really late that I ask you for being my girlfriend. I want to move a step ahead." Rakesh Malhotra atlast expressed his love holding the hands of stunned Kuhu Rathore who never realised when and how things reached this far. I want to......ahead. By now Rakesh had kneeled down before Kuhu with a glossy American diamond ring embedded in an open red velvety gift box, tied with a satin knot on the top cover. All these uncomfortable situations had set a pace of vibration in the long, slender and satirically-confident legs of Kuhu as literally she was shaking with fear.I want to............ahead. This was what echoing in her ears. She couldn't comprehend further. Her eyes were wide awake. In her office room in her office attire hardly anyone could dare to do what is happening with her now. "I want to move a step ahead. Kuhu Rathore will you marry me?" Had the situation been created by someone but Rakesh she wouldn't have stood and listened to him this further. It was only because Rakesh understood her as a friend and he could make that Kuhu was dumbstruck at his drastic step. He could know that the air was now converting from warm to hot and tensed around her ears. To ease the moment he stood up and tried to relax her. " Kuhu the answer should be completely unbiased so take your time. I don't want to force it on you." To this Kuhu just nodded and Rakesh gave her a friendly hug and left for home. Of course he had to take the ring back. Anything more Kuhu would have fainted to a state of forever paralysing unconsciousness. She did not have the strength to stand anymore, with a loud thud she fell on the chair nearby and tears welled up her eyes. She wailed aloud to scream out all the tearing emotions of her past within the closed doors of her office room.
